Caravans.

I hate coming through the toll booths at the end of the QE2 bridge on the M25, about 15 lanes of traffic trying to squeeze into 4 lanes :suspect: lost count of the amount of times we have been nearly sandwiched between two lorries :angy:

Yes I'LL endorse these comments too, I think it is very personal and not for discussion on any threads until we have heard the full story, that is if Kirsty wishes to discuss her private business, which I doubt very much, any member on here would, so please give the lady some privacy ..........

If people want to discuss the article in question then thats up to them but not on this thread and if there is a thread created about it it will be monitored extremely closely for obvious reasons.

It was the A34 between the Botley interchange in Oxford & the junction with the M40 near Bicester.
 
This thread should be in Forum Gold. The internet equivalent of car crash TV (pun not intended).
 
Don't know that area at all!

We were thinking of going to Oxford for the weekend in the van sometime this autumn, apparently there is a couple of sites over that way not far from the town shrug::
 
I know it well Griffin :laughing: I've given up using the road the number of times I get stuck on it because some bloody Oxfordshire motorist can't keep their car on the paddock. That stretch of the M40 between Bicester and Banbury generates more than it's fair share of crashes too, which makes the journey to work a serious pain. I estimate about 25% of the time I take the car there's been a crash on either the M40 or the A34. The latter needs upgrading to a motorway
 
It certainly does - mind you it took them the best part of a year during which the ensuing roadworks wreaked continual havoc, just to resurface it!
