Cheltenham 2023 antepost

I'm done for now, time to research the Guineas. Final list:

Dysart Dynamo Arke 12/1 - easier to curb a tearaway over fences, can you imagine Un de Sceaux in a Supreme as a young horse
Jonbon Champion Hurdle 12/1 - probably a dead bet already
Minella Cocooner Brown Advisory 16/1 and a little on the machine at 19
Jonbon Turners 12/1 - Can see him being stepped up in trip
Vanillier Stayers 25/1 and 36 on the machine
Allegorie de Vassy Mares Chase 10 and 12/1 and a little at 25s

Redemption Day Supreme 10s X
Brandy Love Mares 10s

Added recently:
Stattler Gold Cup 20s
l'Homme Presse GC 7s
Ashroe Diamond Mares Novice 8s
Banbridge Turners 12s

Having Constitution Hill at 11/4 (doubled with Flightline) and 10/11 dutched with Honeysuckle for more than I should have
I should just sit back with the bets I have, watch the racing and not have another bet.

However I can't believe they are still going 7/1 Dysart Dynamo who certainly never looked cooked when he fell in the supreme upsides Jonbon
Unless Jonbon proves to be Douvan Mk2 he is perfectly beatable.

I was hoping the bookes would have made Blue Lord a lot shorter for the QMCC so I could place lay him (2 place). He simply isn't anywhere near good enough to be winning the race.

According to what I read Willie Mullins was delighted with Facile Vega. Willie has also got carried away with others that fell short of his expectations.

I thought he looked decidedly ordinary yesterday and will need to improve an awful lot on that performnace to be winning the Supreme.

Nicky's pair are above average and I think he's going to have alot more on his plate than the betting suggests....evens is terrible value.

Agree with Tan above.

Im not all that taken aback with Facile. Ive backed Jet Powered down in singles and starting on Firestep (just a hunch) If Facile wins so be it, but not an evens money chance.

Also been on Dysart for the Arkle for a while. My worry is will they go Tuners with him, such as the ridiculous amount of talent they have in that division.

I have a gut feeling I've forgotten to log a couple of ante-post bets but this is what I do have logged:

L'Homme Presse 12/1 (thought I had 10s) Gold Cup
A Plus Tard 12/1 - Gold Cup
Epatante 5/1 - Mares
A Plus Tard 10/1 - Gold Cup
Gaelic Warrior 10/1 - Ballymore

I was well taken by young Joseph's Home By The Lee.

He looked very much at home at 3 miles today and when asked picked up really well and ran on to win easily in the end.

The stayers hase seen bettwr renewals and 9/1 looks real value to me,

On the up but it is noted that he doesn't doesn't enjoy big fields or being boxed in tight

All three firms going NRNB on the chship races are offering 7s about Klassical Dream and that's worth an interest. He travelled like the best horse in the race last year before looking to not quite get home. I think that Galmoy run didn't help and if he goes there fresh he has a chance of staying better. And of course you can always put an IR lay in at short odds for protection.

Does anyone know if any bookmakers are offering Any Race multiples?

I tried to get one on with SkyBet yesterday, but they're only allowing singles. Maybe it's not something that's offered? I tend not to bet 'Any Race' so have never thought to look before.

I like this and even more so that they didn't run him at Christmas

Thing are going from bad to worse for Shishkin who is on the sick list yet again.

Those of us who backed Energymene look to be on a real banker as nothing looks anywhere near as good as him.

Only a couple of weeks ago I backed him again but in a small treble with Jonbon and Alloha and he was evens and thet was on the sportsbook.

Never believed the hype about Shiskin comparisons with Altior and Sprinter and doubt if he'll ever come back to his best.

Just took 12/1 and 10/1 Tahmurus with 888 for the Supreme

Edit: Jumped in too quick Hills gone 16/1 so had another few quid on:)

That race is a mess. From the top of the market down:
I can't have Flooring Porter despite his course form, he might have had enough.
I think Home by the Lee will get too far behind.
Blazing Kal is 50/50 to make it.
Klassical Dream I've backed NRNB so we'll see.
Ashdale Bob is the only sort of double figure horse I could consider but I don't think he stays well enough. He's at a price where you can load up and stick some IR lays in as he does travel well and has course form.

Ha.

With this flu pandemic we're in it'll be a miracle if everybody makes it to cheltenham this year.

I've shaken it off. My mum is still very bad with it.

It's a terrible renewal and Nicky at the begining of the season said he might step Maries Rock for it and Epatante could run in Mares.

Ever since James opend this thread with what looks like a stonking good 49/1 double I can't seem to put a foot wrong and it's getting downright scary the amounts involved if they happen to win.
also
Constitution Hill I have dutched with Honeysuckle......Doubled with Flatline 11/4..backed him from 5/2 to 11/8 at all rates..... Doubled CH with Galopin at 20/1...double CH with Facile Vega at 11/1
Jonbon I took 14/1 plus double him with Alhao 5/2 and then took 14/1 Dysart who I said at the start I will lay off...I took Enegumene 5/2 and Facile Vega 5/2 in a double. Then recently I took 9/1 about Home by the Lee who is now 4/1 fav for the Stayers,
The one joker in the pack is a secondary bet I had on Tahmurus who has drifted out to 14/1 for the Supreme

Despite some big win in the past this would be huge if they all should win (impossible I know) but so far it's more than so good so I have made a promise to myself if the mojority of these horses should come in I will never have more than a tenner on a horse again.
