Cheltenham Handicaps

When Broomfield burg got beat in the race before the betfair they said it looked like he didnt like a battle,but after the run of Lively citizen yesterday it seems like it was an impossible task trying to give him almost 2 stone.
16/1 for the county could be a decent bet along with stablemate Fleet street.
Hendo doesnt have a good record in it though.
 
BB is not one to rely on in a scrap, imo Outsider, and it’s not like only one horse beat him home at Newbury. I would exercise caution with him, if I was you.

Pulled too hard in the betfair but I know what you mean.i will have to do Fleet street as I backed it big time(for me) in the betfair and got shuffled back but stayed on well.
But Mullins or Skelton will probably spoil the party.
 
I am really sweet on Colonel Mustard in the County. He has novice hurdle form with all the right horses.

Well that narrows it down to First Street, Favoir or Felix Desjy.

So is it the former, latter or one in the middle Max?

First Street cleary has a chance, but his name is nowhere near as colourful as Colonel Mustard.

I've been looking at the trends for the boodles.
7 of the last 10 winners were 25/1 or bigger.
Looking at the trends these horses fit the bill.

Btitzka

Feigh,white pepper and Doctor churchill just miss out by having more runs than normal and Prairie dancer hasnt won a race.

I like a longshot and I've done FEIGH 33/1 PRAIRIE DANCER 33/1 DOCTOR CHURCHILL 50/1
3 big prices trained by Mullins,Joseph and Elliot.

Prairie dancer blue across the board today.20s tops.
 
So I took a chance back in January School Boy Hours would run at this meeting but I picked the wrong race as I backed him for the Ultima.

Declared for the Kim Muir today!

The Boodles looked a strong race.

GW looks very raw and might have won if he knew how to jump. The Williams horse looked to be hacking coming down the hill.
 
Fairly typical that the 1 day I would have landed the tote placepot I couldn't actually get it on, (was trying to use their £1 free placepot bet offer).

I see it paid £70.

They have credited my account with £1.

PISTOL WHIPPED 28/1 w.hill. Henderson again.hasnt run since last year when tailed off.was entered for his dads race but this seems a better trip.
 
I don't know whether to be pleased or annoyed at the Pertemps Final.

I always do my figures before checking the betting and came up last night with a short list of possible winners/plots.

It turns out they include the first four in the betting and five of the first six (plus a couple of longshots). I can't bring myself to dutch them all as they'll be long odds-on. I'll need to settle for one and hope for the best.

I'm afraid the 'one' will need to be Sire Du Berlais (plus the longshots, of course).
