Daily picks.

Need to watch the race again as i thought it would lead, then had to waste loads of ground switched to centre.Couldv'e traded out at 4.6 ish pre race rushed in hope you got something out of it.

When you posted i thought you'd backed it at 14s,ended up 11/4 fav and really at its best it genuinely was that price.Just keep spotting them you can't go wrong.

I was going to but got carried away doing other things. Like I said I'm happy to take the long term view and try and maximise returns. 15/2 about an 11/4 SP is fine by me win or lose.

I'm just fed up of not being able to get a decent ew bet on,5 or 6 years ago my average bet would be between £400-£800 ew lucky to get £200 ew on on a good day at these sort of prices. So i'm virtually forced into doing some trading to just get some turnover,i never even bothered with trading till this season.

Not a follower of dundalk or form and only watched 3/4 races there ever but
as it's last days racing for 3 days have had an interest,.

6.0 aquilononius 3/1 ew and 2x ew doubles with 7.0 cool athlete 15/8,waterloo sunrise 4/1 think its 3s now.

If you want the clues for Dundalk, speak to me :D

Merry xmas!!! given a very easy race previous think i may start looking at this more often if i get time!!;)

Merry xmas to everyone, will be back boxing day done wolves already it's diaboilcal but maybe a few trades, will do something anyway.
Whos is the lady trainer on here no one will tell me,krizon gave me a clue but still hasn't clicked!!!
Have good un' and don't drink to much!!

1pt trade On the cusp 3/1 365
.10ptew

Don't like trainers horses for obvious reasons so had small bet.

A decent time by on the cusp last time out running 1m40.71 a line through double duchess and king pin the third from that race suggests he has a little in hand on that form on fav minortransgression. Not entirely sure how reliable that formline is,but time was ok and has decent draw where being up with the pace at recent meetings is definite advantage.Seemed an improved run last time out but had previously been beaten off this mark so couldn't be 100% confident. The race looks to revolve around 3/4 runners mighty clarets
some superior form but non yet on fibresand and avertis not yet in form plus the current fav.So with the draw and likely to sit just in behind the pace at 3/1 ew almost a bet to nothing and may be well backed into fav.

Taken 4s i see hugh taylor yet again has the same pick, but he's a bit more diplomatic with his explaination of horses inconsistency.

I've noticed many of my picks match yours, as they do tend to be speed based.

I have gone against you today with Dubiananswer, whose progeny do go well at the track and she may have needed last run after a lay off. I took the early price last night but won't be trading it back until it goes in running.

Guest is a trainer I can never get right, although the fact that RLB has not got the ride has got to be a positive for you.

If you have time, I'd appreciate your view ( or anyone's) on Heading To First's last run at Lingfield. He runs at the same track tomorrow in the 2.10.

He was ridden by Harley last time and I was totally baffled by the ride he gave the horse, especially when he landed the gamble in the earlier division holding up Sovento.

He may just simply be a genuinely bad 46 horse, who has deteriorated since switching, but his last two runs looked strange. It's not as if they get his mark any lower.

I'm probably seeing something that's not there, but would appreciate another view.

Good luck

Looked almost a certainty after xpres maite and ace master had won,two horses winning over trips a furlong to far,the advantage is even bigger thean its been at recent meetings. You cannot beat the clock!!!

I havn't really looked at heading to first fella, shown nothing over trips bit i may have a quick look at the when allison rode it.I've done the form for both meetings but didn't look at those two 10f races to much in depth.

I wouldn't put anyone off anything in those 2 10f races, heading to first was staying on when 7th there and looked like it wanted more race to run at.Thats the problem with the 10f races there, such a high % get run at a stop start almost impossible to have a bet, although saying that yours maybe a huge price so it compensates.

It was the manner of ride on both occasions, but especially the last run:

Blasted off in front and soon clear, weakened rapidly and headed over 3f out, tailed off (op 14-1)

Watching the race is far more informative, but you could say he rode a finish a circuit too early if he was over the jumps.

Best case scenario was they were setting the race up for Daniel Thomas, who did get the perfect pace but faded having hit 1.11. Worst case scenario is either incompetence or other betting activities.

The trainer does have a terminal losing profile, but the rare winner does come on the a/w.

I can't second guess any pace making duties required, unless they were hoping to have Visions Of Johanna in the same division.

I'm most likely going to leave the race alone but will be watching with interest, along with the trainers other two runners, especially with a card at Wolver.

I will try and stop hogging your thread now:)

I can go through a whole card with someone fella,as long as i can get on here so feel free to post as often as you like makes things far more interesting for me.I've already backed steelcut at 8s i would normally put it on here but as trade and ew but 6s already,i wouldn't be surprised if this went near fav as well as it was non trier last time out.

Had about ten picks today so to many to put on here and to much to explain, wish i'd done some multis.Non trier last time out but standard time still wasn't far off the favs over a furlong further with double handful.

My view is that he looked to be making the pace for something else in the race, despite that being a very naughty thing to do. There can't be a plan to win races in such style, and he can't drop any further in the weights. The connection between the Butler and Guest yards is an interesting one, and the chances of the RakeBackMyPoker runner (who have horses with both trainers) Daniel Thomas was certainly enhanced by the suicidal pace the last day.

Visions Of Johanna was pulled out so there was no pace making duties for stablemate Sunset Boulevard.

They were both backed on the early markets, then drifted wildly pre show. I think my initial view it was exchange traders manipulating the price might be the least likely reason.

Probably a case of joining in and trading for some profit win or lose, as I really could not envisage backing anything of the trainers, without a trading option.

Again, well done Giggs

A very strange ride coincidentally by RLB last time out on dancing freddy, although the jock is useless but not even he is this bad, never picked up the whip once and had no intention of trying to get in the race.Whether that is because the horse was to far adrift is hard to judge, but looked like non trier never lost any ground and the angle shown looked to have a bit in hand.Thats the problem with the guest horses as in dave evans very difficult to back with any confidence!!
