Daily picks.

Sadly not. Backed them all, with escalating stakes as the afternoon went on, so had a very good day (in my top five days ever, punting wise), but would've won far more if I'd got the multiples on.

Two off the to-follows at Southwell tomorrow, Al Khan and Linroyale Boy.

Slightly wary as both are trainers I can never seem to get right. Linroyale Boy appeals most - he obviously goes on the surface, but then again the trip could be a bit far and he's been upped again in the weights.

Any thoughts?

I had £2 trebles and fourfolds...also had my biggest bet of the last twelve months on osteopath as a single as you convinced me it was going to win and thought each way was a bet to nothing.

Cheers Gig, I'm goign to be greedy and say any chance you could do the same for Wednesday!?!?!?

Al Khan wins from the front after a nice drift out to 15/2. Makes not looking in yesterday a little more bearable!

Gold Dust Andy, keep it up!

al khan

A violet jordan horse a stable i just avoid as the horses she's running are on really good marks and although some have given some very suspect rides in general they look like they've regressed even further since she's taken them.Mc connell was a good example today ran as well as its going to yet still beat off 50,these aren't plot horses they're just horses off decent marks that are on downgrade. There maybe still one or two in there that are the exception to the rule and al khan maybe one, running on fibresand for the first time today over 5fs in a decent aw sprint. He was the best part of 6/7ls adrift halfway and was nearest finish the trip looked far to short still has only had 14 lifetime runs and out of elnadim may just prove to be better on the fibresand! He's entered in a claimer tomorrow this must be the worst entry ever if it runs and wins as still potentially open to a bit of improvement. Will be surprised if it runs!!

:cool:Was no point in putting this up at 5/1 was to short lovely drift!!!:ninja::lol:If you're getting the violet jordan winners then you know everythings going right!!;)

1pt trade excellent puck 7/1 365!!

Out at 5.2 decent trade for small field.

Excellent puck ran in one of the quickest if not the quickest maiden for 3yrolds this season run over tomorrows c/d 1m58.77,the winner has let the form down over further at swell from that race.I could see excellent puck running well in this race and still only finishing 5th as the whole field look open to improvement and the race looks very good for horses only rated up to 70.I think all these will be winning races mizyen was impressive last time out even though on the clock has it to find strictly with excellent puck but those times aren't reflected in its easy win and birdy boy priced at 3/1 ran one night later than excellent puck and strictly on those times and revised weights there should be little between them.Excellent puck maynot win this race but off a mark of only 70 will be winning one of these a time like the maiden run,has been slightly underestimated by the run of burgoyne last time out and 7/1 is a little bit of value. Will still be worth following on this surface reardless of result.

13/2 ppower.

3 Guising 25/1

NR: Inigo Montoya

9 ran Distances: ½l, 1½l, 7l
TIME 1m 58.77s (slow by 1.97s

premium,excellent puck,guising

Out of the blue this time and the quickest maiden of the year the second had looked exposed and will be off a very generous mark on previous form, the winner premium probably won't be any value but will undoubtedly be running early season on the turf. And the eyecatching third guising 4yr old on debut carrying massive weight and plenty of improvement to come, the race was over a second quicker than the handicap won by chookie royale winning off 82 later on the card.Should be some nice value with the second in handicap and worth following guising after this debut run!!

.I never backed guising next time out when it won at musselburugh was only 6/4 over longer trip on soft ground.

you confused me with ..the winner has let the form down over further at swell from that race..winner not run since

the 3rd winning easily hasn't done any harm that is for sure

The race looks red hot considering they're only rated upto 70 these look worth following actually think excellent pucks been unlucky to be in this race wouldv'e been a 2/1 shot or less in this grade in a run of the mill for same rated.Still worth a bet at these prices and there will be other days off this mark.

Captain bertie won this race last season has similar draw as well drawn 8 was drawn 7 last season, was prominent in the betting for the lincoln never involved. That race looks slightly suspect to me,it was slower than the spring mile won by educate which looked a weak race boots and spurs already beaten in a weak handicap on monday at windsor. As long as captain bertie gets priced up at 16/1 on ground like this and on tracks he likes he's worth a bet ryan mooore rides as well i'd expect a gamble by saturday probably be into 10/1 or less by race time.
He's caught the eye several times last season when getting oputpaced but aklways finishing his races well, his last run last season was a big eyecatcher half the field passed him at the 4f pole.He then showed a great attitude to run on again and pass numerous runners to be nearest finish, that was over an inadquate ffs as opposed to saturdays mile. That race looked stronger than saturdays he finishing behind skilful, another furlong he looked like he wouldv'e been second best.He still finished infront of global village runner up in the lincoln and brae hill 3rd in the lincoln and the progressive cape classic in behind as well.Looks nice trade to me even with the huge field,i havn't even looked through the rest of the runners as the ascot race last season was a better race.

16/1 sporting bet.
