Daily picks.

I've backed Penbryn, but I'm also covering with Deal Me In.

Easy to get sucked into backing these h/cap debutant's with little form, but the owner has a fair record with horses that have struggled with Weld and been shipped over. Probability is he will get three runs at the most before being sold on, so worth a look, even if the trainer is pretty poor form at the moment.

Everythings winning from the front there 3 out of the last 4 meetings nearly every winner has led up to 1m 1 1/2fs so obviously has a chance although there are a few that may lead .I'm consumed with all the flat form at the moment just getting to grips with some of the formlines, plus the ground keeps changing when i see something i like ground seems to change.I might do an ew lucky 15 tomorrow if newcastle gets some rain for an interest couldn't have any proper bets as couldn't be sure of the ground.

Very suprised the price has held up so well with the NRs, still 7/1 with betfair, horse travels well but doesn't like his head in front for too long so have to put an IR lay in imo at short odds.
Reginald Claude catches the eye of bottom weight just wondering why Usher has put Jenner up in place of Kneller, perhaps Jenner can claim more lbs in this race, another horse that travels well but needs to be delivered on the line, back/lay imo.

1pt trade Macdillon 14/1 victor.

The fcast rain materialized took 14s,12s and 11s and out at 6.4 with some to spare running on currently 5/1!!!!!!!!!!

The ground maybe to quick at sandown tomorrow currently good due a little rain but been high temops there today but still worth a small bet at 14/1 really only looks a 7-8/1 shot in this race.If the rain does change the going he would look even shorter with a lot of the other ryunners preferring faster ground.Even on gd/fm and the same going as tomorrows has decent chance against rocket rob and cruise to thelimit on last years form yet 6points bigger than those pair yet comes from decent draw in 3.His c/d record is 2/7 and stuart kittows already sent out our folly and significant move to win first time out and heavily backed.

Some really interesting time comparisons and if these times work out these four are well ahead of their current marks. There were three 6f races run on wednesday at ripon, jonny cavagin winning off 77 carrying 8-13 winning a 71-85 handicap for older horses slow by 3.58 seconds, later on the card the 2nd div was won by baccarat and sandy lane baccarat off 84 carrying 9-6 slow by 3.30 seconds.
The 3yr old handcap above the fuirst four the race was slow by 3.37 seconds and yet they were only rated 73,68,71,66 and yet off levels all wouldv'e beaten baldemar second to jonny cavagin in the first div rated 71 with 80+ runners in behind. This could turn out to be exceptionally strong form for the grade so will be keeping a close eye on these runners as bar the winner and runner up the 3rd and 4th should go off decent prices.

Tumblewind runs tonight off 68 in the 8.20

The forms irrelevant there tonight whatever grabs the rail wins was hoping the ground was going to be softer so they'd come up the middle.she's going to have to beat the draw so 9/4 looks short now.Thats why i left the meeting alone.

i think the race has a lot of pace in it G...and will suit Tumblewind to be away from it.

.i've had a decent bet on it ... if those 6f races are comparative then this has at least 10lb in hand..drop to 5f looks a major plus too

It's impossible to beat those rail draws every race they've won there on the straight course, you may as well back the highs blind form means nothing.

It got the rail straight away cracking choice, tumlewind was in no mans land unless you stay on that rail when the tracks like that you can see horses winning by 10ls its that big an advantage. The o'meara horse won by 2 3/4ls and there was another 3 3/4ls back to the 4th,last season i remember the highs coming up there and they were abiout 20ls clear of the runners on the outside. It's pretty much how it was 20 years ago when you could back the highs blind and forget ratings or form, was the same at the last meeting as well thats why i couldn't bet there.Hopefully it will stay like that all season just i couldn't see anything there tonight, bogsnog has also beaten tumblewind on faster ground before.

I think we need a data base of left and right handed jocks, as left handed ones would have been gold dust tonight.

I could not believe nothing even attempted to go with Grandilak, but was even more amazed when I gave up on my bet on Spavento, only for the pace horses to part like the Red Sea, leaving the golden highway totally clear.

Decent looking handicap ending the newmarket card backed up by the time over a second quicker than the sales race won by windhoek running off a mark of 93 having ghurair rated 111 in behind in third. The first three rated 77,83 and 80 in the handicap, the race also compared well to the other races on the card so they all look well handicapped.

teds brother

Falsely run race tonight and will again be great value on the poly or when returned to the turf of only a mark of 63,previous run was almost 2 seconds quicker than tonights race.He will be overlooked after that run and will be priced accordingly,a nice for to follows on aw surfaces or when back on the turf early season.

Runs off a decent mark in the 2pm @ Donny today. Double figure prices went early this morning unfortunately. Any thoughts Andy?

No bets for me tomorrow hospital yet again.

Got another i noted from july!!

bold ring

Hasn't won for over 14 months bold ring but the ability is definitely there as shown in august third to classic falcon on turf at windsor lots of 70 runners in behind.Bold rings 7yr old now she has won 5/43 on the aw has slipped down to lowest aw mark since october 2010 when winning back to back races,She caught my eye in july when looked a non trier off 58,a bit like kames park the jockey bookings will look more interesting in future as joey haynes has been riding who is average at best especially for riding a bit of a rogue as bold ring.I shall probably back her blind off this mark as she will be decent prices!!:ninja:

Hope all is as well as can be health-wise mate.

Totally missed Bold Ring today - in Portugal with the mrs and unsurprisingly she's not that keen on me spending the whole day on forum/RP/bookies on the iPhone!

You couldn't seriously back courageous with winning in mind as has regressed so much since last season started on a mark of 86 last season is now down to 65 and with 5 pound claimer to take 5 off.Last season although regressive still managed a 3rd to prodigality off 78,4th to hamoddy off 77 and a 4th to clear spring off 76.Even on those regressive runs would have a decent chance in this race, did run twice here last season as well again those runs behind rebecca romero and demoras were different class races to this.He is nearly always overbet and i can see another big gamble off this mark so could be a nice trade in a race where the turf form looks exceptionally weak.

Safwaan came out of bridge the gaps race they both looked far better than the runners in behind, most of that field have won since 5 winners from the 8 runners in behind and quite a few places.Safwaand been beaten twice since last at lingfield, then last time out going off 10/1 when he shouldv'e been 7/2 similarly tomorrow on the bridge the gap form he would be jf.Whether he's just not genuine or perhaps needs a decent pace as the lingfield race was run in a decent time.A pound higher than that lingield run still looks well handicapped on that run if he repeated that form tomorrow, probably worth giving a couple of chances to.

8/1 365.

Out at 5.6.

Does not win very often save the bees only 1/24 runs but is very consistent is always on the premises in these races and has dropped to lowest mark since july 2011.Has loads of placed form second five times last season and third three times, the ground also seems pretty immaterial but the last two runs on gd/fm was 4th to oratory off 71 and third to lockantanks off 73.He was second on reappearence last season, probably has the best known form on faster ground looks a 5-6/1 shot on those runs.Should be backed at 10/1 price is to big with not much gd/fm form in the race although there are one or two unexposed ones.

14/1 lads.

Out at 10.0 nice driftv earlier.
