Lady Gibraltar ran one of her best ever races when runner up the progressive kingsgate choice and York glory won Wokingham over tomorrows c/d.What was more eyecatching is she was the only one to finish in the first seven or eight that had gone with the pace the race run to suit all the finishers. She was off 86 that day got put up a pound which looking at the form now still looks pretty fair she went to Newcastle was drawn high no high draws were figuring as all winners came up the middle and the griound was probably against her.Tomorrow the claimer takes off 5 so running off 4 pound lower than that previous c/d run,the draw may win this race and that maybe her negative as sometimes when the ground gets really quick the highs win on the stanfs side. She has stone of folca drawn alongside so perhaps there will be enough pace to even thingsup.

Had a little on fitz flyer at 10s as well run well here on numerous occasions and one of those drawn high!!

Again a very quick time on the aw must be the quickest 3yrold race this season and for 3yr olds only rated 73 and 67 very quick and so lightly raced.Loads of improvement to come fropm winner on only third run as well and I like the fact naaz back in third beat labienus on previous run, labienus winner since off 78.These maybe future aw stars, one slight? is how quick the track was riding but still looks very good form worth following.

Going to need a reminder now and again as I only put them on here and havn't kept note of them as I usually do,so would be helpful especially the lightly raced horses as the older handicappers are easier to remember than newer horses.

.She has stone of folca drawn alongside so perhaps there will be enough pace to even thingsup.

Stone of Folca who has raced exclusively on the UK mainland so far holds an interesting entry at The Curragh on Sunday week in the Rockingham Handicap.

Might be some rain in the area from lunchtime tomorrow, which wouldn't do his chances any harm. The outsider of the field Rocky Reef would also appreciate it, dropped to a mark of 80 after 2 runs for new connections, he sluiced up by 10 lengths at Doncaster prior to those runs off a mark of 74 (Apprentice race, jockey claiming 5). Whether tomorrow is the day or not, the market may give some indication, high as 33/1, low as 18/1. Many have already been shortened in this race.

Rocky Reef showed signs of coming back to form last time with a 4th in an apprentice race. In another app race at Ascot today, Thomas Brown makes the journey down to ride after riding for his boss at Newmarket. Double figure price seems fair.

TAAJUB

Couple of eyecatchers in this race one was dungannon already on my to follows for ascot and the other was taajub probably one of the biggest eyecatchers I've seen in sometime.Adam Kirby deliberately dropping taajub out,in doing so getting shuffled back and losing 6ls yet finished the race on the bridle.Looked by far the best horse in the race and could well go unnoticed, fairly progressive sprinter last season as well especially on faster ground.Last three previous runs on gd/fm taajub had been 2nd to barnet fair off 98,2nd to desert law off 100 and followed that with 3rd to swiss spirit and kingsgate native in group race. His form is starting to look better on firmer ground and there looks a nice handicap to be won was ridden with that in mind today and maybe seen in listed races, there's a possibility could be better than ever.

10/1 365 Impossible looking handicap but still could be potentially listed class on the newbury run last season and as above looked laid out for this,

Frustrating, 4th albeit beatan 6L by the front 3, maybe down a lb or 2 for that though?

Has fallen to a decent mark knowe head and james unetts having a good season running at 13% strike rate, adam beschizzas rode him 4 times 5/2/1/4.Has had a few excuses last few runs lack of pace behind dolphin rock beaten just over 4ls and has dropped another 6 pound since that run off 76 actually lowest turf rating since august 2011.Was runner up off 75 last season going off 3/1 fav over c/d this looks a bad race to me for the grade, hard to know if he's in form or not but 20/1 would be far to big if the race is run to suit!!Probably one worth following for a while off these marks with unfashionable trainer.

1pt trade Baltic bomber 7/1 365!

Is on to follows based on beverly form from the 14th of may the 4th to black annis tower looked decent form for the grade indian trail rated 70 in second and diamond blue in fourth rated 67.The fifth behind Baltic bomber was clubland winner since and third to meandmyshadow with another 3ls back to the 6th in that Beverley race.Baltic bomber was stopped in run that day and may have been an unlucky loser, since that run has been 4th in this grade off 62 over 6fs on soft, last time out reappeared at Beverley and although that race was pretty competitive was a huge drifter in the 30s sp 20/1 when never looked bigger than a 10-12/1 shot.Tomorrow runs at Hamilton against similar rogues, the fav lady del sol seemed to run a decent time in the claimer only .18 slower than the handicap won by imperial legend if she repeats that run over 6fs she'll probably win.Think Baltic bombers worth risking a small bet and the betting will be interesting I've taken 8/1 may well drift yet if the stable are clueless as 30+ last time out made no sense on previous Beverley runs.If he can repeat the Beverley run he's no 8/1 shot and would have a great chance in a race full of rogues!!

Crew cut was a massive eyecatcher at ascot on penultimate run giving the field 4/5ls start ran an incredible race to be switched right round the field and still running on not quite getting there nearest finish to be third to yeow and democretes. That was off a mark of 84 and he's now on a mark of 85 on that run there's more races to be won as he must've conceded 7/8ls to that field by the end of the race.He looks one to follow, have watched the race before but only noticed last night on replay.Obviously he went to Epsom showed nothing but easily enough to forgive that run especially back over c/d,probably the other most interesting runner is signor sassi 8th on seasonal debut to hallelujah form that now looks very good.Hallelujahs been third to city girl in conditions race,2nd poole harbour 4th to tropics in hot handicap at Windsor, the 3rd seeking magic been third at Epsom in class 2,the 4th burn the boats has won 30 runner handicap at the curragh. The ffth Harrison George has won twice on the bounce and the 6th khubalas won and been 4th to York glory in the Wokingham.Signor sassis only had the eight runs and open to improvement after that debut run as well.

crew cut

Will add on todays runner for to follows, sedate pace in this race and the complete opposite of previous ascot run pretty keen and with the pace.I'd be looking for bigger fields for crew cut with guaranteed pace and looks as though likes running through them. Was also quite a drifter considering previous run there inj a far better race than todays, even just watching the finish today was obvious the race was the complete opposite of what he needs.

Cannot be 100% sure how much closer or even if medi would've run on with a clearer run but was certainly travelling best throughout this race out the back.February 2012 was third to kinglet in a group 3 on the aw for brian Meehan that was the last time he was actually placed in any race since,he's now fallen to a mark of 90 and trained by dandy nicholls only second run for him.The way he travelled here suggests he's about to hit form last decent run was last season when 7th of 14 to gabriels lad off 93,that race has produced some decent sprinters now off this falling mark trained by the best trainer of sprinters might just go in at a big price.Went off 25/1 today and probably unnoticed hard to know his optimum conditions as he has form over various trips and ground but looking at this run a stiff 6fs should be ideal.

Running very green but visually one of the most impressive debuts I've seen for a long time and sort of reminded me of frankels early greenness and bull like appearance compared to other horses looking an an absolute powerhouse and completely different class at the finish.Time seemed ok for the easy win ..26 quicker than the nursery winner winning off 75 off 8-6 the great Gatsby carrying 9-5 suggesting he's run to a mark of 90 hacking up.He looks one of the best 2yr olds already with loads of improvement to come which could come over slightly further later on in the season.

Don't you want other peoples comments on this thread Andy, seems a bit of a strong reply to Ulleyseys, who would appear to be a keen follower of yours on here!

He isn't a keen follower SJ, he tried to come on a while ago claiming that Gig was useless and how he'd given Gig loads of winners. His to follows thread has been widely derided and he's on here trying to jump on the back of Gig's to follows list now he has realised he has no support when trying to discredit Andy.

The other new fellow has questioned Gig's to follows - you could just back them every time - you'd still be up, but it is about Gig's write ups that tell you to look for the conditions for when to follow them. Do the work, read hiis write ups and follow them. You literally can't lose. This thread is repeatedly shown to be up there as the most profitable threads on the net.

Just leave Andy's thread alone will you.

2 ew lucky 15s will do them again if bigger 365.
wooden king 9/1 Out at 6.0.

niceonemyson 7/2 5/1.

Nassau storm 5/1

honeymoon express 5/1 blessing box 6/1

2 ew lucky 15s will do them again if bigger 365.
wooden king 9/1

Wooden king on a decent mark but form looks regressive although this season started off on 71 now down to 65 Philip pronce claims another 5 down to lowest mark since October 2010.Already been 3rd to powerful wind off 69 this season over c/d the Chepstow run was quite interesting badly hampered then came home in own time behind comptonspirit 7/4 tomorrow.Watching that race looks like further would suit as was staying on again under hands 'n heels he maybe one to follow for a few runs off current mark,he doesn't win that often so you would only want to be backing him near double figures.

niceonemyson 7/2

The time of noceonemyson last time out run at Beverley makes him look potentially well handicapped but raises slight doubts over the time of ziggy lees handicap win off 82 will be interesting to see if the maiden time works out.The 54 rated niceonemyson only running .44 slower than 82 rated ziggy lee but also carrying a pound more tomorrow back in handicap with 7 pound claim as well, the winner of the maiden rated 73 trainer is probably a negative getting horse to run two races the same.Still an interesting runner on the clock from decent draw.

Nassau storm 5/1 13/2 ppower

Has yet to prove as good on the turf second to Belgian bill on the aw was in a really hot race hasn't prioduced that yet on turf.may simply not be as good was 5th to yeow a couple of runs back having lady gibralatr and tropics behind, was the race crew cut came out of and disappointed Saturday so again another pointer to crew cut to see if the form will work out.Has dropped a pound since that run which enables him to run in this although disappointed the last two runs one would've been because of the ground, the other was in Buckingham so could be forgiven as has run well at Yarmouth before.

honeymoon express 5/1 blessing box 6/1

Just looking at the times of fav green monkey and hand in glove these two ran on the same cards as blessingbox and honeymoon express and their standard times on those specific cards were quicker so maybe a little bit of value in a very poor race although most of these still look open to improvement
