Are you backing Fitz Flyer today Andy, seems to match all the criteria you'd want, dropped another 1lb, straight course, G/F going and Fanning on board. Seems very little between the 3 favs in this to me.

Exposed now and handicappers been unrelenting even though only won 1/38 has now just been dropped a couple of pound enabling him to run in races for horses rated just up to 85.He looked a little unlucky yesterday travelling really well but never getting much of a run in this grade he should be winning as these races will be by far the weakest ever contested. Not even sure Beverley suited all his best form has been on straight tracks even this season 4th to magical macey at newcastel and a 4th to ancient cross at York, loads of good form last season 4th to singeur off 90,3rds to kingsgate choice and tax free last season as well at York and ascot off 89 and 90.Could well get overpriced being on such a long losing run.

KABBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM :lol::cool: Not really the sort of price I was hoping to see with more runners stew,a pity as will have to cross him off now back up to 90....

Lovesome,liberty. jack

A maiden stakes race yesterday at Leicester these two 11ls clear of the third rated 69 and the time .34 quicker than older handicapper winner askaud rated 80 earlier on the card.A few reasons these could be well handicapped both off 70,they both only have had little racing lovesome the 6 runs, liberty jack the 5 runs. The Newmarket race lovesome contested over a furlong further is working out well mushaakis has come out of lovesomes Newmarket run and run well in better grade. The 6th napindas won,11th not riggs won they both drifted over to the far rail at liecester travelling further than askaud and were also ridden by two very average jockeys in Louis steward and William twiston davis. This form may go underestimated as they could be improvers and off current marks would be very competitive in weak races.

Remember putting up silverware last season when he won,ran today at ayr off 75 same last winning mark although had shown promise up to previous wins whereas today was coming back after a break and had been out of form.Off this mark he becomes one to watch out for has three wins on gd/fm all off a mark of 75still only has the 19 runs on turf so reasonable strike rate, going to be overpriced now especially if he can get an uncontested lead!

Frog hollow,Harrison george

Frog hollow formerly with clive cox at one time looked to be going on to better things 3rd to rewarded and archbishop may 2012 off 90.Has been disappointing since that run slowly coming down the weights, has changed stabkles now with bradley. Was an eyecatcher at wolves behind tarooq 4 runs back finishing strongly over 6fs to be nearest finish and tonight the only real runner to come off the pace and finish 5th running on to unexposed sprinters. He doesn't look one to trust completely but think he's worth following for a while after this run and maybe a very stiff 6fs or 7fs running off an all time low mark of 83.
Didn't think i'd be putting harrison george up as one to follow but the last two runs have caught the eye.Penultimate run at donny was 8th of 20 in a hot handicap led then passed by a 1/2 dozen runners only to run on again looking to be in need of further. That form was franked today by york glory winning a decent handicap at ponte two places infront of harrison george at donny.Tonight was up with the pace throughout and on the drying ground although looking beat a furlong out was finding again at the finish,he looks in really good form and maybe a step up to 7fs will be the key last win october 2010 over 7fs on sft ground. If he's going to win will be now off just a mark of 85 lowest mark since july 2008!!!!

Again a very quick time on the aw must be the quickest 3yrold race this season and for 3yr olds only rated 73 and 67 very quick and so lightly raced.Loads of improvement to come fropm winner on only third run as well and I like the fact naaz back in third beat labienus on previous run, labienus winner since off 78.These maybe future aw stars, one slight? is how quick the track was riding but still looks very good form worth following.

Going to need a reminder now and again as I only put them on here and havn't kept note of them as I usually do,so would be helpful especially the lightly raced horses as the older handicappers are easier to remember than newer horses.

Very little 7f form to go on 2yr old wise but another reasonable time on soft ground at haydock by washaar on debut, only .49 slower than the progressive 3yr old equity risk in the following race.A decent standard set and at least one to follow short term this looks listed class form already and maybe even better with another step up in trip!!!!!!

Annes rocket

Thoroughly exposed 8yr old but strangely form has slightly improved with age so even though now off all time high mark there's a chance of getting overpriced. The race above annes rocket travelled really well off 73 and was second best in this race got no run 2fs out went for a run wide and then hands n' heels when no chance of winning. The race was full of horses either in good form or others that went onto win,the 1st,2nd,5th and 12th went onto win he looked the second best horse in the race.He then went onto sandown to run in the race he won previous year but the ground was verging on gd/soft given as gd/fm and couldn't pick up or even go with the pace.If he can just repeat that run above I think he can win off this mark the form looks rock solid, unfashionable trainer with horses highest ever mark should guarantee some big prices. The grounds going to be decent for the next month has never won on worse than gd/fm and that's the time to bet..

May as well put this up but from slightly different angle stew as i've never quite understood the running of it on poly when all its best form is at swell and on soft/heavy ground. Now dropped to 68 has won at swell off 77 and looks like another violet jordan horse running in wrong conditions just to get mark down, actually beat horseradish in september 2009 on that surface. The end of this month will be interesting when swell re opens.

BANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Off 49 today ran twice at swell and only second run on soft since put up!!

brown sugar

Another hannon runner 6/7ls off the pace, finishing under hands and heels giving the impression he was easily the best horse in the race with loads of improvement to come.As mentioned on other previous runners this one was 40/1 outsider of his three, again showing there isn't much between the majority of his runners and also showing there is value there with all the multiple entries he will have. The time of the race was respectable as well only 1.1 seconds slower than nocturne winning off 94 in later handicap and with loads of improvement to come will leave hughes scratching his head on the big races yet again.

Ka...?

Yet another two hannon horses that were eye catchers and look huge improvers worth bearing in mind when looking at the big race entries as there's no way hughes will get these right so many of comparative ability.

edge

Was miles off the pace at chester till the last 1/2 furlong and was nearest finish,in all probability at least a 6f or 7f may suit best. The winning time of this race only .66 slower than dutch masterpiece winning off 89 later on the card, another hannon runner that could be overpriced with multiple entries.

As above you may as well back them blind and ignore jockey bookings when looking at these 2yr old races so evenly matched.;)

solar spirit

Bit of an eyecatcher solar spirit trapped in a pocket at a crucial time when looked to be cantering, impossible to win when switched at catterick ended up 4th beaten 2 1/2ls.Solar spirits got to come down the weights now hopefully a drop of 2 pound and that would allow him a nice drop in grade as the races he's been competing in have been very competitive. That would allow him onto his lowest mark since winning off 74 april 2012,looking at his profile in recent time his best runs have been on softer ground as opposed to fast ground so that run may have been even better than it first looked

This looked a decent race with the front two 7ls clear of the third, comparitively on the card the time looked probably one of the best of the season as they would've been racing on the worst of the ground being the last sprint there. All the ascot races have been priced up I can't see anything, there's been nothing on the cclock to have a bet on but I wouldn't mind having a bet on these two if entered up somewhere. The fact bounty hunter was 7 3/4ls behind in 5th yet had only been beaten 3 1/2ls by parbold in the class 3 maiden at York gives this a bit more substance. This looks one of the more interesting maidens as may get overlooked with a plethora of other maiden winners of hannons and haggas always has one decent 2yr old this will probably be it.
