Daily picks.

On to follows doesn't look a great bet from the 2 draw especially as recent meetings the stands side have had advantage but at 16s worth a small bet chester more than likely the most likeliest place to win if drawn well. The other negative is there are 4/5 in this almost guaranteed to run their race and are in good form.Tomorrow she gets to run off 66 with de silva claiming 3,she started the season on a mark of 80 so on ridiculously low mark and although shown very little conditions or draw have mainly been against her.
Highlights of last season were winning off 79 and a 3rd to cruise to limit off 83 tomorrow 20 pound lower, her best runs coming this time last year, her 6th to sleepy blue ocean on gd/fm ground was a sign she's coming back to form even on wrong ground. She'll do well to beat the draw but can't see her going unbacked back on gd/sft ground should be decent trade whatever, can't let her go unbacked at 16s as she's more than likely going to win within the month.

16/1 victor.
Took 18/1!!

You beat me to it gigs:) She`s from my local stable and a big run is expected tomorrow (for the reasons you state). Her recent efforts are better than the bare reading shows and the more rain the better. Also, I don`t think the draw is necessarily a negative. If she gets her usual fast break and claims the rail she could take some catching. But, as you say, there are a few in-form sprinters in opposition....fingers crossed:)

PS:Have I mis-read the draw...thought the low numbers were against the rail? Should also point out she`s a c/d winner!

She'll be 3 lengths from the far rail while the stalls(high draws)are on stand side I havn't see any winners on far rail for as long as I can remember so she either stays up the centre or trys to get across onto the rail. Can't even remember any horses going to the far rail especially over 5fs used to be an advantage when ground was soft but no the fields just don't attempt it anymore. On recent races I can remember nearly all the winners have come stands side or nearer to the stands side rail. That was the beauty of notts 20 years ago you could back the lows and hit massive fcasts and placepot busters on soft ground over 6fs.

Compton prince

Think I put this up October time to follow but hasn't looked to have right conditions and only noticed it entered at wolves on Monday off a falling mark of 60.The above race at Kempton was run in a decent time 1m37.25,he was 4th from the 9 draw off 66 so now looks on a decent mark and a 4th to clearing in june has worked out well that was run over the 6fs at lingfield. The first 6 in that race have all run well since 5th Reginald claude hacking up on Monday and the second fossa has won and been placed again plus ghost train has been second on the turf.He was entered in the race on Monday Reginald claude won priced at 10/1 so looked overpriced that day Reginald claude winning at 5/2 yet had finished behind him. He's a 13 race maiden now and run a couple of poor races but in the main his form has been quite solid, his reappearance on the turf this season was last of 8 at lingfield but last season was a close 6th to juvenal off 67 at Windsor so may also be a little value on the turf although his form looks far superior at Kempton hardly run a bad race there and should win a handicap there over 7fs/mile.

honeyhaven

Rated just 40 honeyhaven so a speculative one at the lowest level, caught the eye today in the seller having been under pressure for most of the race fully 7/8ls behind coming into the straight. She suddenly really picked up under hands n' heels in the last couple of furlongs only 4ls behind 60 rated horses. That was a poor race, but there will be even weaker races around on the aw and if that run wasn't a one off could pick up one of these or even a very weak handicap. She may just get overlooked pricewise and i will give her a couple of chances.

Just touched off!!!:lol::lol::cool::ninja:

The ground would've made hawkeyethenoo look huge two days ago but now its going to be quicker and may well be gd/fm by Saturday.Although run some disappointing races this season his run behind lethal focrce at ascot was a big eyecatcher, fell out of the stalls and still held back off the pace even though travelling well.Graham lee looked as though he thought they would come back so even though beaten 5 1/2ls the 4l start given plus held up he could veasily have been 3ls better than that form. The times that day show York glory ran .43 slower than lethal force when winning the handicap strictly how the finished that day in both races hawkeyethenoo has 2-3ls to find and that is the distance he comceded if he runs to that form and gets put into the race there should be little between them.Already backed at 16/1 and 14/1 I think he will shorten as the probably the class horse in the race drawn on the far side most races seem to be won by the lows or middles at goodwood although never a great deal in the draw.Tropics and York glory are on that side as well which is probably a positive as well!!

Amazing maria

Hacking up by 6ls yesterday over the 7fs at goodwood bettering previous form by someway and backed up by the clock only 1.03 seconds slower than the decent 3yr old handicap win by majestic moon winning off 86 carrying 8-9.Looking at last years races on the same card the 2yr old winner annies fortune was over 3 seconds slower than the handicap winner so her time looks pretty decent. She looks like a mile will suit as well and one to follow especially as not much on the clock on recent runners over these trips so far.

I'd include the runner-up, Inchila in future calculations too, didn't have a clear run but would say she was as superior to the rest of the field as AM was to her.

These four look well in looking at the 21 runner class 2 handiicap for older horses only .38 slower than that race but the winner of that racw was only running off 8-5 winning off 87 idler now rated 93 with 4 1/2ls back to the second this looks very good form and some of these runners could be listed class. The first four home in the 2yr old race all beating the second in the 21 horse older handicap, the winner will still be able to run in handicaps for horses rated up to 85.The third horse looks ridiculously well handicapped ghanian only rated 75 and will be massively overpriced if running in a race for horses only rated up to that mark. Two other runners further behind need you now in 6th came out and won a listed race at 33s and the 7th also ran respectably in a listed race on next run 6th of 16 at Newmarket.

Do u find it easier conpairin times over same distance on ame card rather dan usin per mile calculations? U just ave to wait for te right cards I guess, not often can ya compare 2yo with good 3yo heritage races.

A nice looking nursery with the time of 1m47.68 although i havn't checked all this seasons nuseries at wolves i think this may have been the quickest.Winner won't go up much from the mark of 78 and probably worth following the first four for at least the near future!!The form looks rock solid with red eight previously winning by 3 1/2ls another 9ls back in this race and running off a mark of 71!!

Simply wouldn't bother with cecils or sbs horses once they've won at these meetings I see loads I could add on here but they're going to be 6/4 shots raised in class on completely different types of tracks. The whole point is finding horses that will be overlooked in the betting and are still progressing or in the main finding lower grade handicappers that are following a pattern in there form and look like winning at bigger prices well in advance of runs.As long as I keep putting them on here, one day 4/5 may click and they are more likely to be lower grade handicappers at real value and the opportunities of multiples.I put quite a few on here but a certain % aren't much value, the valuebecomes greater the more I look at the lower grade races or aw races and that's where i'll have the best wins.Annecdotes race was exception to the rule,2yr old handicappers rated so lowly you hardly ever see such goo time comparisons but over the next month if there's going to be any it will be between September /October.

Good post, what do you make of Harrison George from the list, was runnin behind rio de la plata 3 years ago in August, still retains all that abilit, about 90 rated ridden handy at least 105 rated when rear ridden.
