Daily picks.

Fire fighting

Progressive in last two runs first two runs didn't show a great deal tonight winning by 5ls making all to run the same time as 80 rated ortac rock in the claimer on the card. The handicap would be more useful timewise running .51 slower than magic city 85 carrying 9 pound less,i'd be keeping an eye on his mark more for nurseries than anything better at this stage.

Toubougg Happy

Another easy 2yr old winner similar to fire fighting running .30 quicker than cape of hope in the handicap winner off 70 equally looking well handicapped so a decent marker for the 2yr old.Still open to loads of improvement I wouldn't be backing in liosted races but if aimed a little lower might be interesting maybe even nurseries depending on mark.

Honeymoon Express

Put this up on Tuesday with blessing box had finished runner up to gasbag on previous run, gasbah hacking up today at liecester looking way ahead of mark.I liked the time of her race that day at Yarmouth and if the race had been a furlong further on Tuesday she looked like she would've won finishing twice as quick as the front two and although nothing special the mark of 65 puts her in the right grade to pick up at least a race. That was her seasonal debut though and the 5fs beat her so she could be even slightly better than first appears.

KABBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM Sluiced up :lol::lol::lol:WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOSSSSHHHH!!Nice start to week back to bed!!!!

Niceonemyson,sir Geoffrey,emily hall

Very weak form from Tuesday again aslthough the time nicenemyson prodeuced on the Saturday at Beverley appeared to be good only .44 slower than ziggy lee winning off 82 but NOMS carrying a pound more. The times worked out he won and although he only won by nk looked to be keeping a bit back for himself. He maybe up to winning again in this grade I can see a little improvement. The second r Geoffrey franked the form had won on previous run and last season was rated as high as 74 so a few reasons to think this maybe better than first appears. These two dominated from the front and the one to finish best of all was Emily hall nearest finish she's still only had 11 races and only rated 47.This second div was .46 quicker than choc a mocas win which makes more interesting reading winning off 60 and the fact there was another 3 3/4ls back to the 4th in the second div this form might get slightly underestimated.

Maidens in races like that get turned over all the time honeymoon express ran a decent time there on seasonal debut she should've won when third to blessing box as write up so she looked a winner without penalty second green monkeys won again since. She looked nailed on for second on those formlines and receiving weight you could probably have put her near mid seventies on that penultimate run with 12 pound pull with top one second fav 14/1 the place bit looked fantastic bonus getting the win.Just the sort of bets to follows are about benny was in the form at least place wise winner without penalty on her fav track and trip and ground, think ground was to slow previous run.

Most seasons the returns are similar so I don't always if you're winning all the time its a bit pointless last season was best ever season so kept track throughout.

Bogart was running to a different level to these this time l;ast year a 4th to tiddliwinks in the duke of york may 2012 since then has seemed to regress showing very little nearer last than first on most runs.Last time out showed some encouragement when running 8th of 17 behind society riock leading till the fuirlong pole and the most interesting thing was the time. The winning time 1.04 seconds quicker than miss rally winning the handicap off 99 carrying 9-3.The time for bogart would've been similar and he carried more weight,he's never shown anything over 5fs but he had plenty of decent group runners in behind on last run on this track so at 25/1 worth a token bet.Infact he's probably one for the to follows over 6fs back in handicaps if he can just run to that form.[/QUOTE]

Those c/d times were right KABBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM Just the 20s this time!!!!!:lol::lol::ninja:

Broxbourne

Massive eyecatcher given a really poor ride by lisa allpress way off a sedate pace throughout the race was only beaten 2 1/2ls nearest finish and almost definitely the best horse in the race.Tracks such as goodwood and ascot seem to suit and should win another handicap off this mark, although may not be much value.

Bushel

Similar to Broxbourne race another slowly run race bushel looked beat 2fs out then started to pick up again to be nearest finish just needing a faster run race.Hard to know the value of the form when run at this pace but only sits on 81 with the 4 runs and open to improvement, although like Broxbourne trained by Johnston maybe not much value.

Another try

An 8yr old now but becoming well handicapped lowest mark since may 2011,ran at brighton Friday on a track that wouldn't suit most form in recent times coming on straight tracks on gd or gd/fm.The ground at briighton on Friday was on the soft side and the form of that race looks suspect but showed another try maybe coming into form.Last season won off 78 at haydiock this time last year and then was 4th to Amadeus wolftone off 83 in a decent handicap. On his day he's capable of sluicing up off current marks and could win a couple off this mark of only 73!!

Been an incredible run throughout the year but the last 2 weeks even though been away and betting less the to follows has been ridiculous just the last 16 days with winners prices taken.

Your comments: Two very strange rides by martin lane recently riding the mare and eyecatching both times, she had been running well on the aw this was her grade tonight and she should be competitive in these races. She's currently running off 65 and although she doesn't win often is usually overpriced because of trainer .She sluiced up off 63 last season in august over windsors 1m2fs spread-eagling a field of 70 horses behind her and heavily backed, she's worth looking out for in decent ground races at the track

Done nothing today bar a thieving bet and that's all i'll be doing tomorrow if that, all 5 meetings fcast rain seems a bit pointless doing the form if you can't be certain what the going is unless you're going to guess. Will leave my betting till sunday when I know what the going will be,roll on the aw season!!:ninja:;)

Like I was saying to the numbskull stew there are plenty of other winners on the to follows I don't mention I never did the form for the meetings today as like tomorrow was uncertain of the ground.Thought it best to leave it on what looked likely to be softer ground apity as was a nice price that's the way it goes. There were others that were beat but were terrible prices and not even placed so worked out as I hoped, nice couple of winners today as you know anyway.;)

A master of your craft gigolo. Well done:)

I see you did six wives today fella, let me down for a nice multiple with the one you did previous day gottcher same price in even worse race today. The angle on six wives was the ground I wanted it to be soft but the fcast rain never came and that was the edge six wives had on the field.

Ayr gold cup

Hawkeyethenoo 20/1 365/hills

Jack dexter 25/1 hills

This group 2 produced two massive eyecatchers in may and could well be two of the main contenders in the ay gold cup.Hawkeyethenoo looked unlucky in this race sitting behind but not getting the gap and could've had a group 2 to his name as it is has slightly disappointed since but a few excuses since trip ground and last time out at goodwood looked unlucky.Held up away from the pace was stopped in run several times and looked the second best horse in the race finishing full of running in the stewards. He obviously retains loads of ability his mark is slowly coming down now to 106 anything slower than the ground he ran on last time out would increase his chances and some of the market leaders around hos price would look more suspect. The 20/1 is the biggest price in 3/4 seasons bar two runs one in a group 2 the other the Wokingham would have a great chance if the grounds even near soft.

The other is the progressive jack dexter also huge eyecatcher in the group 2 race above cantering in midfield getting pushed further and further away from the pace in doing so wasting loads of ground. He's won 5/10 runs over 6fs and even though scraped home against miss rally on last run I think he's far superior to that horse. The handicap ran on the same day as the above won by miss rally was run in 1m12.48 as opposed to the above run in 1m11.68 that run gives the pair at least 3ls in hand even though they got no run in the above and yet are priced the same as is nocturn from the same day finishing second to miss rally.
If they run to this form and get some ground on the easy side they still look very well handicapped!!!!

Amazing maria

Hacking up by 6ls yesterday over the 7fs at goodwood bettering previous form by someway and backed up by the clock only 1.03 seconds slower than the decent 3yr old handicap win by majestic moon winning off 86 carrying 8-9.Looking at last years races on the same card the 2yr old winner annies fortune was over 3 seconds slower than the handicap winner so her time looks pretty decent. She looks like a mile will suit as well and one to follow especially as not much on the clock on recent runners over these trips so far.

Only bet as looked bet to nothing done nothing else done no form havn't looked at any other races bar maidens briefly couldn't find anything to go with it.I'm to ill still after coming back from holiday to do anyform or pricing unless I see something glaringly obvious, same as yesterday did no form 4 picks that looked bet to nothing.Probably the only bets i'll be doing will be bets to nothing or thieving bets won't be getting involved in the form book.

Hamish Mcgonagall

Great run at 8yrs of age by Hamish McGonagall in the nunthorpe to finish 4th only beaten a length,he's still on a mark of 109 but this proves he still retains ability. The reason he might be worth following through the autumn is that when he does hit form rarely does he not follow it up with another decent run/runs
Looks like he'll head straight for the prix de l'abbaye a lot to ask but with ground riding soft could run well at a big price. He could pick something else up before the end of the season as he's hit form just at the right time with the ground he may just be overpriced.
