Random success

A weak handicap but the lightly raced filly was 6ls off the pace with a furlong and a half to go,yet picked up to eventually win cheekily. She looked a long way ahead of her winning mark of 58,with only 5 runs and open to loads of improvement she could turn oput to be a decent class handicapper and she could be overpriced in these weak races. Can't see her going up more then 4-5 pound for this win and that l;eaves her in very weak races, nearly always run at a true pace the 5fs she looks worth following.

Rebellious guest

5yr old now and as 2yr old looked like being a group horse clocking up some nice times, when winning at Windsor hacking up over 6fs in a time only .03 slower than joe packet winning off 90 in ver competiotve handicap on the card.On that run alone looked top class George margason must be really disappointed he slaughtered Compton in that maiden also looking like resurgence this season and had Mehdi behind by 4ls now rated 88 the 4th nothstarboy 7ls behind winning in America recently.Although that was 2 seasons ago there must be a chance he retains far more ability than 80 horse, today he travelled really well on the surface the race looked poor and pace wasn't great but he won without coming under pressure. He looks an interesting runner on different surface and George margason has often won big races by getting seemingly once top class regressive horses back to form.

relentless Gigilo! Left her at 8/11 this morning, I saw she was evs at the off and couldn't get on in time :(

No great loss missing short priced winners, although impossible to oppose, the mare tinshu must be one of the unluckiest horses in training she ran 5th in the listed race got put up 2 pound every race she's run thisd season the pace has been against her.She started the aw season off 91 off 94 today and those rises have cost her the race and she probably just hit the front to soon, couldn't bel;ieve she was 14/1 ridiculous prices.

A very competitive race and although picansort is 7yr old has always hinted that he holds something back this race showing his true ability cantering over the field sitting upsides the winner forest edge 2fs out cut up and hampered and finshing under hand's n' heels.Probably the fact he can race in these quicker better class races helps and now he's risen enough to run in them should be worth following on this run. There was another eyecatcher in alben star 6ls off the pace from the break and finishing again under hand's n' heels over a trip which he's only run on debut,he's now down to a mark of 92 did not look particularly well handicvapped on this run but only 3rd run back in 14 months. He was running well on the turf 2012 in the high 90s so the mark of 92 and after todays run maybe he still has a few pounds in hands and could well be overpriced next time out back over 6fs.

I'm going to take interest in your selections giglio. When do post them up ? I only read them once the race is lost or won. A streak of winning form . Well done .

Been on a winning streak for ''12 years'' fella, what I put on here is just a % of what I'm backing but mainly horses that should win again based on times or previous form and coming back to form.
As you will see by 95% of the the opening books prices they are obliterated to the returned sps, thats probavbly mainly due to me putting them on this thread plus I send an email out daily!:ninja:It's impossible to lose following the picks even if you just arbed them..

Smalljohn

Think smalljohns gradually working his way into form last night in a pace dual with piceno and strongman they both finished last and second lsst while smalljohn was just collared in the last 1/2 furlong. He's now of a mark of 69 may take another drop after this run,he's 7 from 26 over the 7fs c/d at wolves on lowest mark since may 2012 before winning back to back races. This wasn't a great race but he had little chance the way the race would be run he's rarely overpriced but this race might just start putting him on some nice prices and with an uncontested lead think he will take some beating.I've watched his ;ast few races and seems to have been taken on or as in penultimate run slowed the pace without pushing on which is not the way he will win.He maybe being set up for a nice xmas/new year gamble.

KAABBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM 5/1 And 9/2 WHHHHHHHOOOSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!Makes up fort Friday!!!:cool::lol::lol:;)

surface was the most likely the important factor agreed, doldrums is well bred type tho by bernstein, there not cheap, about 150k us dollars. time was nothing special, still looks a good performance from the winner. that class 6 race the 2nd won the other day, litmus.

thought the longer trip was doldrums undoing, seemed to bounce back today and was well backed. could be that pace dual took alot out of the horse that day, was a tough race. suppose dropped few pounds since that win and that helped. WD today

The Johnston horses are all sitting there running over the wrong trips, this time of year he steps them up in trip and some of them turn out to be 100 horse, just in previous seasons you have been given a few more clues by the clock.

Starbotton

Lowest grade racing, but for the grade quite a decent time for horses rated 45 and 49 the second six silver lane also maybe worth following again back at this trip and particularly both of them at this track.Compared to starbottons other recent aw runs the time was very favourable so this track may well have brought about improved form, this race only .96 slower than the class 4 on the card. The third in this race was another 3ls back in third, they'll be out again in same grade and probably be overpriced,no reason why the winner and runnerup cannot win again over this c/d off these marks.

Hunting Ground goes again tomorrow. Switches back to Fibresand having won on Polytrack last time, though has won on Fibresand before.

Drop back in trip has to be a slight concern but absolutely hosed up last time and surely will go off shorter than the even money available with Bet365 as I write.

Sir geoffrey

Sir Geoffrey 7 now and been on downgrade was rated 80 2012 so has fallen 26 pound on the aw,did win on the turf off 50 but has looked very moderate. Last time he ran at swell was rated 77,earlier in 2012 was third to woolfall sovereign off 80 he returned today in apprentice race rated 54.Drawn 6 and eventually getting pushed over to stands side rail by quality art,he won quite easily even though being pushed over probably cost him a length or two.The following div was won by 60 rated Thorpe bay .29 slower than sir Geoffrey which would equate to sir Geoffrey running to that mark,he'll still be running off 54 and there was a little in the tank if he repeats this form he should win again. He may still have enough ability to run to a mark in the mid 60s on this surface that he likes!!

Star up in the sky

When I first saw this result thought the time looked exceptional for a 53 rated runner, but track was riding very quick I still think it was pretty good but with the penalty which will be 10 pound then the time is negated to what about a horse of 63 would produce on that surface. But this was only second run since September, penultimate run behind Basingstoke was the race I put on here being the fastest of the season over 7fs that race has worked out exceptionally well George Benjamin and todays winner plus three places already coming out of the race.
Today she was dropped back to 6fs and they were virtuially all in a line with 2fs to go,probably confirming they didn't go that quick early but she quickened impressively. She was a winner off 73 in august 2012 she's still only had 13 races she also could be versatile with the amount of ear;ly pace she shows, infact she has looked a little to keen she maybe even more interesting give a chance over the straight 5fs.She could turn out to be a big improver on this surface and one to fiollow.

Thought Repetition ran a blinder today Gigs. The Ingram horse was lit up in the first time blinkers and hassled him for the lead otherwise he'd of won

Wasn't much of a race though,he's done his work for me winning at 16s he looked to have a chance today but the values gone now..Ali Rawlinson another winner today as I mentioned on comeback ride looked very decent and that's 2 winners this week and 5/18 rides claiming 7 invaluable.:ninja:

Had been sold out of haggas yard for only 5000gns gave this field a 6l start and just getting up to win on line off a mark of 70,shouldn't get much of a rise now with Michael Appleby.Last previous run was 443 days was rated 82 2012,this was a weak race but could be a fair bit of improvement to come.More impressive was the jockey ali Rawlinson didn't look like 7 pound claimer the way he riode this holding onto horse till last 1/2 furlong and still not panicking in finish. He's been an apprentice since 2008 yet only had 9 rides and although I know nothing about him or how old he is he looks an in invaluable asset claiming 7 pound he should pick up some nice rides looks to have a furture.

Hi gigilo

New to the forum this week and that's twice now I've seen you post a Kaboom after a winner. But I can't see on the thread where you actually first put up the selection?

Is it from a long way back when the horse last ran or something?

Cheers
