Plough boy

A very poor handicap, lots of strange rides on the card at lingfield today I could pick out 5/6 exceptionally high for a card but the worst must've been plough boy.It maybe possible that overestimating plough boys run as only rated 57 but the ride catlin gave this was blatant, out the back travelling well and then under tight rein catlin with no forward motion at all one of the strangest rides you will see.The probability is the horse will be unbackable looking at the way it was ridden here but worth noting for any big prices as still only had 6 runs, looks limited but as mentioned before these races for horses rated below 60 especially 3yr olds are extremely weak on the aw.

Pity about DH ut still KABBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!:ninja:WWHHHOOOOSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Harwoods volante

A reasonable time and the winner back after 3 months break to beat inform porteous, form looks a little suspect through the third expect had 8ls in hand on that but was only 4th strangely hardly shortened from opening price and yet the third was heavily backed.Perhaps expect will be better at wolves may explain the disappointing run but the winner looks progressive was off 75 hopefully won't get put up more than 5 pound and with only 5 lifetime runs will be interesting to see him entered here aghain through the winter.

With such a decent pace and fairly decent time have to take a positive view of the form, luhaif last season runner up to van der neer hadn't run for 198 days and from the 11 draw trying to make all,the run here behind van der neer only .01 slower. He could well come on for run and dominate another one of these races, was unlucky to find one in birdman showing big improvement in first time headgear, wionning nicely at finish but needing the decent pace to show true ability. With same scenario no reason to think there's more improvement.
Dance and dance was finishing well as was true to form almost definitely wants the 1m2fs George guru was still finishing the race off hampered at finish as mias boy by birdmans run.George guru usually gets overbet but ran well would've been upsides luhaif at finish but for interference and although not particularly well handicapped the same horses keep running against one another with guaranteed pace could pick up one of these. And as mentioned mias boy showed he still retains ability at 10 he will struggle to win in this grade but is falling down the weights gradually.Again the pace showing him in better light he could be value at big prices with again more pace in the race, wouldv'e finished upsides dance and dance without being hamoered..

The fastest 3yr old race this season run at lingfield although, looking at the class 2 later on the card and the pace of that race the track was quick as it's ever been. The winner harwoods volante off my to follows and runner up had been 2nd and third to another of my to follows the progressive oriental relation also runner up to alutiq previously so the form looked rock solid.
The first 4 in this race are still progressive although another penalty for winner, but showed great attitude to battle back and looking at times run at wolves, lingfield and Kempton although they are high in weights looks as though there are still wins in them. There may have been a slight advantage to be infront or near the pace at lingfield today, looking at some of todays races as the other meetings there this week suggested the opposite.Drive on and national service gave the winner and third 4-5l start from the break and although came to win the race just got oubattled. The fourth national service was out of the handicap is still only off 71 and 3 lifetime runs, there must be a chance that at least one of these could progress into top class sprinter on the aw and the most likely the lightly raced national service..

Spa's dancer

Relatively exposed 7yr old now,but has improved with age last season winning off 92 all best form has been as 6 anmd 7yr old so interesting switch to the aw.The gelding had only the 6 runs on the aw and not much worthwhile form just a maiden win, this was a decent run on debut run this season behind George guru and infront of rebellious spiriti,He may not have even been best placed being stuick against rail when making challenge,he did win off 92 sandown yet os only off 91 on the aw so no reason to think he can't repeat the form and maybe come on for the run.
These races are pretty competituive at this level, but the time was reasonable, the form looks solid and a cance of more to come on surface he may get overpriced with relatively unfashionable trainer..

1.55

Strictly on collateral formlines queen of the skies has the beating of silly billy and emperatiz through hot right now but very little in it,the most disappointing runner last time out was dandarell hacked up by 9ls then raised in weights ran well again in similar race but behind queen of the skies last time out.If he can return to previous two runs would be the value has blinkers on replacing the visor.

Queen of the skies,Dandarrell,Silly billy.

2.25

Fire in Babylon probably high enough in the weights but won comfortably last time out beating previous swell winner light the city, the others recent form there looks weaker.Johnston has a runner out of street cry so bred to go on surface is only off 57,she's very lightly raced only 5 runs ran ok at wolves and could well be an improver for surface..

Fire in Babylon,Travel..

3.0

Some poor form in the race Johnston sends another debutant after last weeks mile winner, this one out of tefilo 4/17 on the surface they always appear more interesting when he sends them over a trip and so near to the beginning of the turf season also related to group winner. This race will take little winning and is by far the most interesting runner,i can see this being a big gamble just based on the others ability shiown so far.The other two runners have poor sire stats there so makes them difficult to bet,at least puzzletime has won a bumper over further she maybe capable of better if going on surface.

Turnbuckle,Puzzletime

Expect looked like being one to follow on the aw after debut run behind al thakira and then beating angel flores in good time at wolves.angel flores has since beaten one of my to follows horses rated now in the 90s oriental relation.Expect went to Kempton and flopped, then couldn't concede 11 pound to thataboy but that form is a different level to this race, not great sire stats on surface so ? but anything like previous form only one to beat.Wiki tiki looks the danger has been performing in low grade handicaps, but improved for this surface and looks likely to win more races on fibresand strangely raced back at wolves next time out. These two look likely to fight out the finish..

Expect,Wiki tiki n/r Argent touch

Non runner wiki tiki that's a pity as looked great betting race if fav expect flopped wiki tiki lokked to take advantage, now if that happens the race looks wide open, there's a possibility expect could now go off evens maybe even odds on.If that were to happen with bets on at 11/4,there maybe some value in fcasts and tricasts as I can only see the fav winning or just not going on surface and bombing out, argent touch has hardly run a bad race very weak form but would be involved if fav doesn't produce iots best.
4.05

Elusive hawk was the best horse in the race but evans and not knowing how much ability it retains is 10yr old now but still looks the likeliest winner in a weak race, the obvious dangers are spitfire disappointed last time out and alpha tauri nothing between then on form from earlier in season. They should finish 1,2,3 if running to recent form

Elusive hawk,Spitfire,Alpha tauri

4.40

Gogeo and noguchi both have decent swell form but not over these sort of trips, although gogeo has won over hurdles but that form looked very weak and I get the feeling from overall profile they struggle to get him fit although still open to improvement and most likeliest winner.Noguchi has some decent form here over 1m4fs if there's no pace in this race he would be a big danger as ? over stamina, daliance is a big eyecatcher on form from 2 seasons ago but has a bit to prove on recent form. The positive is lucy wadham trains usually run well when sent here,if the others don't stay could go off a silly price so wouldn't discount..

Gogeo,Noguchi plus comb fcasts with dalliance

5.10
The form of this race looks terrible any sort of improvement from the runners that havn't raced on surface would be significant as it stands on recent form it looks to concern royal bushido, frank the tank and its all a game all have form against each other and look pretty evenly matched. If nothing improves from the less exposed runners then they could well fight out finish with c/d form in a very weak race.

Frank the tank,It's all a game,royal bushida

These higher grade sprints are usually very poor races for betting purposes and once again proven by todays results with even stevens winning off highest ever mark on surface that doesn't suit as swell specialist. It maybe the surface as it is now running sio slow suited as reflected in todays winning time also the first three were never out of the first five with the pace.I wouldn't be reading to much into this form as I'm sure on another day there could be 6 different results, but ubetterbegood was an eyecatcher last entering straight to be nearest finish and now a pound lower than last seasons win and first time pieces.Forestedge very untidily away similarly getting shuffled back to second last entering the straight and running wide again the only other runner to make any significant ground,he's off 104 now so not well handicapped but when he won off 99 he looked to have a fair bit in hand coming off the pace at lingfield. He maybe worth considering in these sort of races if double figure prices....

The form of this race looks terrible any sort of improvement from the runners that havn't raced on surface would be significant as it stands on recent form it looks to concern royal bushido, frank the tank and its all a game all have form against each other and look pretty evenly matched. If nothing improves from the less exposed runners then they could well fight out finish with c/d form in a very weak race.

Your gifted
Dawn catcher

Your gifted a thoroughly exposed 7yr old but an eyecatcher in this race travelling as well as anything trapped in on rail with nowhere to go throughout the race. She was up with the pace throughout, the race collapsed around the pacesetters and the two finishers won and came third, from last two positons in last furlong.
Considering she was up with the pace and was still travelling best bar the winner was even more eyecatching, how much she would've found is impossible to say but would surely have been in places against progressive winner. She's probably a horse I would avoid normally with strike rate and trainer but she could be overpriced after this run with books.
She's had a couple of seconds already this season both at wolves and a few places, this run would've been a long way infront of her recent best form and she maybe worth a few bets over the next few week.Quite interesting that she hasn't run at Kempton for 3 seasons but the track seemed to suit and the frenetic pace.
Dawn catcher similarly seemed suited by the track seemed to be travelling as well as most but was on outside of your gifted but couldn't get a run either, stopped in run shuffled back. She maynot have picked up as well as your gifted very difficult to tell but she's only had 8 lifetime runs, hadn't run since November had finished a length behind poyle Vinnie over c/d in a time that was respectable.Poyle Vinnie has since run 4th to expose after being hampered, there could be more to come from her and she could well be huge prices in very mediocre races.Just to mention roys legacy another very good run from poor draw up with pace throughout and still managing to get third place there may still be another race in him when given the draw and lead!!Quite an interesting insignificant little race!!

Bennelong

Have to give old timer Bennelong a mention after winning the hands and heels apprentice race, winning by 9ls but also in a decent time with the worst jockey in the race.Winning off a mark of just 49,shows even at 8 he retains ability over this trip yet been running over distances ranging from 1m4fs up to 2 mile over the last 3/4 seasons.Current trainer has only had him for last 6 runs and has obviously realized he still has ability over a mile, was reflected in tonights sp.He also brought him back to kemption, where he had previously run his best races over a mile back in 2009,everything panned out well for him in this race but with a decent pace under similar conditions will still be interesting even with rise in weights.

Seamster

A very poor race but the winner 7yr old seamster seems to be running to another level with different headgear and drop to 6fs on these surfaces,,hacked up here could've probably won another 2-3ls.Was only winning off 48 today, don't think the handicapper can be to harsh on an exposed 7yr old has been beaten in this grade numerous times over 7fs and could well still be able to run in this grade when turned out again.
Although seemingly exposed has only had 23 runs on aw as 7yr old so in that respect hasn't had a lot of racing,on previous run at Kempton was second to indus river which was a pointer to todays race. The time of that race for the grade was good 1m12.52 and looking at similar grade races there recently at least 1/2 second quicker so he may well be running to a slightly higher level than present marks. At Kempton or lingfield he could well still be value and interesting to see iof he can follow this up and worth chancing a couple of bets,if he repeats this form would be very unfortunate to find something to beat him in this grade....

9 Pound rise isn't going to stop these:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:win again yet as well:ninja:KAAABBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM:lol::lol::lol::lol:WWWHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Interchoice star

Interchoice star only raced once in 2012 a veteran now at 8,lowest grade racing but what could be decent form for grade. This second div .50 quicker than the first div won by 55 rated pick a little, the winner major muscari had run some decent races and decent tuimes on recent runs and the second hamis al bin had been eyecatcher in several better races.Interchoice star showed he retains some ability he was rated 63 in 2011now on 46 with an uncontested lead he's worth a couple of bets as this form is better than it first appears..

Won 3 out of 4 races since posted, great spot Andy!:D

Queen aggie

A dubious ride today on queen aggie seemed to be travelling ok jockey martin lane showing no urgency to get involved in the finish or at least the places mucking about on the inside, this trip on this surface may not have been ideal but certainly wasn't out to win this racer. On previous run was a bit of an eyecatcher running on strongly to be 4th to strictly silca decent time of 1m35.64 at lingfield, she's dropping nicely down the weights was rated 94 early in year. She doesn't look straightforward but interesting the headgear worked at lingfield first time, she was probably run here to see if she stayed the extended mile and worth coming back. She looks in reasonable form now and these races are pretty weak sure evans has her lined up for a race or two around new year!!:ninja:

Completelt different class to that bunch wasn't outpaced vtonight, was obviously going to be up with pace, looked ac certainty anywhere near its form!

Andy what do you think of?

Lingfield 5.10 Fratellino 6.8 win 2.26 place

Looks laid out for this race off a mark of o/r 80 - has been running at Southwell where he has no form but looking at his form at Lingfield where he was running very well off mid to high o/r 90's he looks thrown in - the booking of Tom Quealy shows there intentions as he is 4 wins from 13 4yo+ runners for the stable.
