If you really are working 16 hours a day on this thread Gig you deserve every penny you make. I'm a lazy punter and just look at the betting read what Timeform have to say unless we are talking class animals and bet or don't bet. I do put a lot of time into the jumps watching races and learning trainers habits/methods but never take notes. To each his own G/l

Two consecutive maidens run in very similar times, the most interesting thing were yesterdays times compared to todays times over the same trip and what should've been quicker ground today as well after another dry day.
I'm going to treat the form with slight caution as all the above have run within
.50 of a second of both of todays class 4 winners rated 77 cruisetothelimit actually carried a pound less than yesterdays runners. The second div won by triple chocolate rated 83 carried 3 pound more, with all the improvement to come for yesterdays runners on top these times pointing to these maidens being well above average. They could all be very interesting runners in nurserys and get extremely good marks one or two of them could well be listed class, although it would be hard to say that any of the five stood out as they all looked very similar..

Bold lass

This was run in a very slow time and even though the winner won easily it probably reflects how poor this race was but the running of bold lass on its turf form can be scrubbed.Absolutely hacking up at Leicester a second quicker then the second div also the same time as the 3yr old maiden winner and 1.19 seconds quicker than the older handicap on the card.I would be very surprised if bold lass wasn't extremely well handicapped tobight running off 76 could still be well infront of the handicapper and as seen kin numerous occasions switching to different surfaces as the winner can make such a big difference.Probably be next season now for bold lass as will probably avoid softer ground and after tonights run will be hopefully underestimated!

Hunting ground

Nice performance on only third run at swell clocking a reasonable time of 2m36.40 with lots of improvement to come.As many I've put on here recently I've waited to see if he could translate the form to the turf ran ok today but not going to be as good on turf unless he wants further looked at swell as though the further he went the better he was. He's been given a mark of 86 for the aw which may not leave him hardly anything to run in on at swell but worth bearing in mind if he switches surfaces during the winter and a few 0s infront of his name may just get overpriced.Out of top class dirt performers street cry and panty raid he's one to watch closely as he progresses

A decent looking time on the new surface for low grade race, the first 3 running wide throughout and pulling 7ls clear of the field. The winner and runner up looked exposed but the winner hasn't ad many chances over this trip and the runner up has dropped from a mark of 72 on the aw to 62 and the third has only had 4 runs currently off 65.There shouldn't be any reason why the winner can't win again seemed to have a little in hand and equally off these marks on this new surface the second and third should pick up one of these in current form.

Go far
Foxtrot romeo

Plenty of pace on and will be interesting to see how the times work out as the first two were far better than these,go far looked exposed off a mark of 80 in may,yet somewhere more improvement has come.I actually thought he was
winning better grade races perhaps by beating quite a few dodgepots or running against horses that ground mayhave been against them. He's won off 94 tonight had to run wide throughout, willobviously be running inlisted races on the aw as picked them up really well considering his draw and the real test will be off new mark in handcaps or listed races.Just the way this race was run and the time worth seeing if the form stands up off revised mark.
Foxtrot romeo looked like winning 4fs out as was on the bridle throughout, now whether he's dodging it or simply tonight wasn't left to go on sooner it's hard to tell but he maybe worth looking at again on the aw especially if botti sticks to the aw surfaces as this was first attempt.

Tendu
Luna mission

One of the best 2yr old performances seen on the clock on the aw think it maybe the fastest time run this year by any horse over 6fs not quite sure but the fact it was a 2yr old filly just makes it even more impressive. She's run quicker than both the class 4 handicap winners last night for older horses by 1/2 second an enormous difference the two winners of those rated 82 and 75 she looks open to loads of improvement. As a betting proposition for the turf with so many good fillies this season there are 6/7 outstanding they would be speculative,it will be interesting to see how she figures back on turf. She may even be a breeders cup horse on this performance, being sister to showcasing she should make an impact she already looks a 100 horse in canter and more interesting for me would be on aw surfaces there looked loads more to come!!!
Luna mission althiough beaten 5ls has still run a decent time for a debut run,dam was listed placed on aw over 5 and 6fs.Marco botti hasn't shown a a great deal with 2yr olds on the aw so far and their is probably more reason to see her figure back on the aw she maybe herself contesting listed races during the aw season in full flow...

Was actually a track record for juveniles I thought I hadn't seen quicker, although the other times on the card suggested the track was quick and apparently watered so probably explains the times at least being quicker over the last few meetings. This maiden was .43 quicker than the group 3 today, although that race looked very weak with 85 rated burnt sugar winning and proximity of other runners unless winner is far better on the aw...

The track at Wolves is riding consistently Standard over the last 3 meetings..they have it sorted really good at the moment....these are what i got for the times..figure are lbs faster or slower than current OHR

The surface is superb, anyone holding back from betting and worrying about the surface or it being different you can't see any difference to what is was 6/7 years ago.All the previous form from the old surface there and poly at lingfield is carrying forward and the times are already working out..

Flight risk

Managed to ctach the Dundalk race, nice l;ittle race for thecard and the lightly raced 3yr old flight risk, couldn't go the early pace must've been 4-5ls off the pace early.A the 2f pole lookee even further behind maybe 5/6ls then was nearest finish, probably would've beat these 4/5ls over 6fs although they were 5f horses so would've been expected but still nice run. This was only 3rd lifetime run and 2nd of the season, first time out 4th behind scream blue murder and winner since jamsie.Obviously his rating is going to be high for such few runs, but I like the fact he's run on the aw and could be a new horse for the aw season with better prizemoney on offer. He's open to loads of improvem, ent I'd expect him to be contesting the listed races on the aw tracks, his mark maybe to high in the handicaps but worth seeing what he's entered in..

I was looking at it for the aw season, although now looking at the times perhaps they just aren't very good aw horses the 3 five 5f times shouldn't have been that close. The nursery was only .45 slower and the weak handicap only .90 slower will still keep a close eye on him for the aw as wasn't given a race.

A decent looking time on the new surface for low grade race, the first 3 running wide throughout and pulling 7ls clear of the field. The winner and runner up looked exposed but the winner hasn't ad many chances over this trip and the runner up has dropped from a mark of 72 on the aw to 62 and the third has only had 4 runs currently off 65.There shouldn't be any reason why the winner can't win again seemed to have a little in hand and equally off these marks on this new surface the second and third should pick up one of these in current form.

not bad..they beat the 4th horse out of sight in fiftyshades race...and we know the first 3 are probably 10lb in front of those marks. Ruage Nuage who was 2nd is entered 13th sept at Wolves.. got beat at Brighton two days later..i think its safe to totally ignore that form as it doesn't suit all horses there and RN has run good races on both visits to Wolvs..didn't like Lingfield or Newmarket either..maybe doesn't like the downhill sections

Ruage Nuage should be a good thing shouldn't it back at wolves on 13th?

Was in two minds to put it on here, but the track is pretty quick at the moment will go up 10 pound for that win, even tonights 7f race was won in 1m24.52 by horse rated 70 carrying 9-9.Couldv'e been a good race for grade tonight as well but the times are generally very quick tiger tales race very quick as well. These races could all work out but they're going to be short priced favs on the surface and I wouldn't want to back them at 5/2 when I know the times are slightly exaggerated.

Don't think I've backed a simon dow horse all season,if I have it must be one as I can't remember him having a winner,i did look at it but with stable so out of form its impossible to back them.It took a massive hike in the weights on the aw when it came second after I put it on here from 82 to 92 so probably won't be any value on the aw either.

Havn't seen much in the way of decent 2yr olds so this race maybe decent, the field nicely spread out at finish with winner and nearest finish runner up going away from the field. The winner only filly in the field so gives the result a bit more interest and the third entered in derby looking to need further.Looking at last years times over these two days, this time compated favourably as well and although the ground may have been a touvh quicker today was still goodish ground. The time of the race only 1.44 seconds slower than sole powers win, which is good for debutants, may not turn out to be the best but at least short term pretty sure there wil be some top class sprinters in the race!!

This looked a poor race at face value a maiden handicap, but the time suggests the first two might be better than their marks and maybe open to improvement on the surface over a mile. The three meetings at lingfield this week the track has been riding slow compared to the last few months, infact the class 4 won by maverick wave rated 84 by 4ls was only .76 quicker than this race and he could turn out to be better than a handicapper.Looking at the times over the 3 days the time for this grade compared to every other race over the three days compares well.I think the track was slightly quicker tonight, the above two there must be a fair chance this form will get dismissed so pricewise there maybe a bit of value. The winner and runner up have only had 10 and 11 lifetuime runs so not impossible they could be improving off a decent pace over a mile on this surface.I'd be looking at them back over thios c/d with plenty of pace in the race..
