Daily picks.

not bad..they beat the 4th horse out of sight in fiftyshades race...and we know the first 3 are probably 10lb in front of those marks. Ruage Nuage who was 2nd is entered 13th sept at Wolves.. got beat at Brighton two days later..i think its safe to totally ignore that form as it doesn't suit all horses there and RN has run good races on both visits to Wolvs..didn't like Lingfield or Newmarket either..maybe doesn't like the downhill sections

Ruage Nuage should be a good thing shouldn't it back at wolves on 13th?

Ruage Nuage 6.40 race..5.8 at the moment..lets see if the downhill theory is right

Winning time was 2 seconds slower than the race he ran here last time,i dodn't like that run at brighton he actually looks a bit of a rogue back here with decent pace would be only time its worth backing.Polar forest was 19ls behind in that original race as well..

This looked a poor race at face value a maiden handicap, but the time suggests the first two might be better than their marks and maybe open to improvement on the surface over a mile. The three meetings at lingfield this week the track has been riding slow compared to the last few months, infact the class 4 won by maverick wave rated 84 by 4ls was only .76 quicker than this race and he could turn out to be better than a handicapper.Looking at the times over the 3 days the time for this grade compared to every other race over the three days compares well.I think the track was slightly quicker tonight, the above two there must be a fair chance this form will get dismissed so pricewise there maybe a bit of value. The winner and runner up have only had 10 and 11 lifetuime runs so not impossible they could be improving off a decent pace over a mile on this surface.I'd be looking at them back over thios c/d with plenty of pace in the race..

Really was standout today, the speedfigure above was one of the best ever recorded for grade when the track was on the slower side and just checked results the winning time today 1m35.99,i think that maybe the fastest time recorded in this grade this season and maybe one of the fastest ever in this grade remembering the winner was only 3yr old as well..

Faure island

Will have to add on faure island now as this form looks so good, this was first run on the aw and only second ever run over a miler he was always travelling well out the back and may have even winner with better run. With time being so good and open to more improvement then he's worth following although probably wouldn't want to see him put up more than a pound for this run or would be rise in class although he still mayube capable of better...

A very poor race but you the winner could still be worth following at least short term, winning off just a mark of 50 on only 5th lifetime run as 4yr old.He was given a harder race than he needed ridden out right to finish, wouldv'e been nice to see him given an easier race at finish which is always slightly off putting when following lightly raced horse to ensure he runs the same in future. The most interesting thing was the time looking at the class 6s over the last 6 weeks I think this race was faster than all the races for horses rated up to 65 yet this race was for horses only rated upto 55.He will probably go up 10 pound for this win but will keep him in 60 rated grade he could be open to more improvement and he may just win another one or two. This race was also only .339 slower than dominiums win on Saturday night as well rated 70 so the time itself is rocvk solid he just needs to repeat it again in these lower grade races to win.

one odd thing about today though..the last 3 races over 7f were all very slow times..like they ran further than the advertised distance..other night Instant Attraction ran 88.47..but todays were 90+ for older race..the two nurseries were near identically slow..91+ seconds....a bit odd

They are slow times for the last 3 races, especially the last for the grade but I think that was a very poor race very little aw form in the race bar winner which looked thoroughly exposed and sakash.Still doesn't explain the slow times compared to rest of the card though,i try not to over analyze things though unless of course that keeps happening later on the cards there.La cuesta she could be worth following on the aw all the times are very similar over the 5f races but she was accelerating at the end of the race with a ton in hand, her future looks to be on the aw if her last turf run is as good as she is she could be a permanent fixture on the aw.

Dark kingdom

Nice performance from winner, drawn widest and coverung more ground abnd winning cheekily at finish, the time of the race only .25 slower than Amadeus wolfe tone rated 85 in claimer and .39 slower than verse of love rated 82.The times were comparatively good for an insignificant maiden at chepstoe, this race was also quicker than the following 3 yr old maiden as well. The runner up king jerry had an rpr of 68 so the winner should get a nice opening mark to exploit nurseries of which I would imagine will only be around 74...Probably worth mentioning the third chain of daisies she also could be worth looking at now in nurseries as she may only be rated in low 60s...

An extremely poor handicap, the times yesterday at lingfield were extremely quick but today it looks as though they came nearer to standard looking at the rest of the card so for using formwise probably more reliable. These two were up the front throughout and dominated winner off 47 and runner up first race of the season, the time for this grade of race was very respectable for such lowly rated horses. At least on this surface there should be plenty of opportunities off current marks and they could even run up sequences with slight improvement over this c/d.Both will be rated in the low 50s and can even drop a grade..

Canny cool

Only got an rpr of 72 but could be far better than that mark, not just because of winning distance tioday but the clock with all the other 5f races compared very favourably. The opening claimer won by meccas mirage rated 68 was .91 slower than canny cools maiden and canny kool carried 12 pound more, then the two class 5s for older horses were just .12 and .02 quicker won by bond beach boy rated 75 and ambitious Icarus both of which were well handicapped and the 2yr old has matched there performances.Hopefully will get chucked in some nurserys off generous mark,i presume will be seen in listed races around those northern tracks at some point before the end of the season of which he may just win one if getting this decent ground...

Very special

There seems to be a decent 2yr old newcomer every other day at the moment so a lot to keep track of so the future races are going to be very competitive at group level.Todays winner 280,000 guineas half sister to chriselliam, she won this race in a quicker time than refuse to Colette yesterday winning off 74 by 2 3/4ls and later on the card winner 77 rated cordial .30 and .10 quicker and this being her debut run.She is yet another filly this season that could go straight to group company.

Marsh hawk

Been some nice fillies this season and marsh hawk looks as good as any of them at least on soft ground, the time of the maidenwas very favourable compared to rene mathis .34 slower winning the class 2 handicap rated 94 and the solrera .44 quiker than the group 3.The pace of those races was not great for the first furlong, but the filly hacked up in her maiden by winning by 7ls she looks to have loads to come and one of the most interesting fillies that could be running during the autumn. This run alone she looks a group horse already...

Sleepy blue ocean

A race where the form in 9 days has thrown up 14/1,4/1 and 5/1 winners already all were bigger at early prices and today red baron on the wrong side at ayr just getting touched off at 50/1.I watched this race numerous times and
red baron, mutafaakir and sleepy blue ocean went off really quick in this race at the 3f pole from the side angle shown they looked 4ls clear going off way to quick.Just in behind them chasing them was bondi beach boy he won at Beverley in the week, red baron was placed today at 50/1 and sleepy blue ocean was 5th doing best of those to chase the pace. He's now off a mark of 74
will probably get a drop now to last years winning mark of 73 and this form looks rock solid.

Millys gift

A very strong piece of looking form,as I mentioned the previous day the draw looked a big advantage standside, the eventual winner ran an incredible race drawn 1 dropped out to come standside.Discussion to follow has been on my to follows eveer since its maiden run when looked a stone well in has looked massively progressive. He gave these at least a 3l stsrt beating horses behind that themselves were in great form robot boy won decent handicap at Newcastle and demora hadv won the big race at musselburugh. The form couldn't have been any stronger with speed gift winning at bath on Tuesday as well,he's now 3rd fav for the stewards cup and looks like he has a realistic chance, whatever he will be winning more races. The other huge run in the race was millys gift stranded in the middle of the track the only horse from the race to run well from there and just get touched ioff. She also looks progressive and her sandown penultimate run is also woring out extremely well.

KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKAAABBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!Those aw times tell you loads about their marks!!WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWHHHOOOSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!:ninja:

There are a lot of decent times at Kempton being run and in lower grade,so I'm not keeping track unless they are exceptional like tendu's race.Probably no coincidence that all 3 aw tracks are producing faster times, maybe rain causing it.

Tiger jim

Very lightly raced 4yr old trained by jim goldie and could be more to come with just the 7 runs, today ran over 6fs which looked strange dropping back in trip and upped in class.Had started on the aw showing very little and then making up a lot of ground on debut this season although beaten a lon way in 6f maiden again on good ground, was upped to 7fs and won a weak handicap at Donny.Todays trip and class didn't justify being a 7/4 shot plus the ground was virtually gd/fm race was fasrt by.96 seconds but still he ran well in 4th off 71.There looks like there could be more to come out of sire tiger hill at the moment hard to know what his best trip will be,he may have run even better today on softer ground an interesting handicapper still off nice looking mark.

Two consecutive maidens run in very similar times, the most interesting thing were yesterdays times compared to todays times over the same trip and what should've been quicker ground today as well after another dry day.
I'm going to treat the form with slight caution as all the above have run within
.50 of a second of both of todays class 4 winners rated 77 cruisetothelimit actually carried a pound less than yesterdays runners. The second div won by triple chocolate rated 83 carried 3 pound more, with all the improvement to come for yesterdays runners on top these times pointing to these maidens being well above average. They could all be very interesting runners in nurserys and get extremely good marks one or two of them could well be listed class, although it would be hard to say that any of the five stood out as they all looked very similar..

Rydan

Probably one of the most impressive winners seen at Kempton and backed up by the time which is probably in the top 5/6 fastest times ever run there, hacking up at finish and also very keen throughout the race.Rydan was only rated 86 in this race, the marks will be pretty immaterial if he improves as he looks an out and out aw horse he will be back here contesting all the big prizes throughout the winter.Looking to the future could be a breeders cup horse...
The actual track record was set by irish flame in November 2011 in a time of 2m 16.98 irish flame rated 110 on the aw and 110 on the turf,a time that rydan looked like he could've bettered in a better quality race...

Ghost cat
Captain revelation

A decent time on the aw for 2yr old race .52 quicker than the older handicap won by guishan off 66 off same weight of 9-5,the OR rating of ghost cat is 78 which doesn't look as good on turf and the runner ups big improvement captain revelation after debut run.Thought these two are worth mentioning as beating older horses on the clock and they may return here in future, the seconds mark will be interesting now as was only on an rpr in the 50s.They may not show anything on turf or find the races to competitive they would become very interesting back over this c/d

I don't see how anyone could back this on turf based on your write up.

You're some judge. Kabooming 4-9 shots and ones like this where you've said it's the wrong surface just demeans your work, which is undoubtedly excellent stuff.
