Daily picks.

That jockey you don't like has had a great double up today Andy. Was a fantastic price, as i went through the form could see exactly where you were coming from, top Booming!

Jockeys rubbish that's why I thought it would over race, but the horse looked in cracking form you watch its last rtace it gave them 4ls so had the beating of everything in the race was just a matter if it was tonight or next time out,i even backed it on be4tfair for 3 and 4 places as a saver as well,my best pick in a long time as would never back trainer normally and unless you watch the replay the you miss these things.Makes up for engai the other day as well, thought it was one of those days with battalion non runner and a couple of other duff rides..

Absolutely abysmal race for horses rated upto 50 and there's one runner in this race that even just going back to august would be odds on to win it,Tom Dooley has had loads of racing 56 as 5yr old and looking at some of hios form seems unbelievable that he's only won one race on turf was actually 2nd to captain Cullen in august at the curragh a race for horses rated upto 85.Hss since dropped dramatically in the weights, infact is following same pattern when running in the high 60s dropping to 47 in feb 2015 tomorrow similar thing runs off 49 has also since changed trainers, john feane had 13 runners 5 winners 38% obviously if horse retains anything like any of its ability could be a massive gamble in this race.Looks one for notebook looking at profile regardless of tomorrows result as obviously far more ability than 49 and seems to be able to get back to ratings in 60s,in all honest the prices is a bit disappointing but the profile of the horse says to back it off these marks so will have to follow it for the foreseeable future..

Tom Dooley 6/1 365/betbright

That's the one i meant to bring up!

Jarv on here told me it was running,i wasn't to impressed with the price I had small bet on it just following exact pattern as last season running to different level after a couple of runs last weeks run looked better class trainers now at 40% no reason why it won't win again although it's never going to be much of a price.Look at that race at wolves it got beat in was 10x easier than tonights, whether didn't handle track or simply needed run different grade last week and tonight most l;ikely just likes Dundalk..

You could get over 4/1 earlier, was heavily backed, looked to be running into form last week when btn by an in form horse, won easily tonight.

5.0 wolves

A real speculative one in Dovil's duel from tony newcombe stable was a sprinter when with rod millman has won 3 races two over 6fs and the last win was in a very hot claimer at Windsor on gd./sft ground, had run ok over 1m3fs at Kempton and 1m2fs at lingfield, on the aw previously.
Tony newcombe took him from that Windsor claimer has only run 3 times since, been totally unfancied but was a little bit of an eyecatcher when 7th behind hickster giving the field 15ls start in a race that favoured the pace horses, different class race to tomorrows.
Those last 4 runs have enabled him to drop to 60 and with eoin walsh's claim tomorrow to 57,worst race it's ever run in and lowest ever mark, its speculative as trips only over the mile at wolves horse has looked to be in need of further in recent times, but the race is so poor if he retains any of his early speed he used to have only 12 months ago could figure at huge prices. The betting should be informative,if tony newcombe thinks the trips ok it would be inevitably backed off this mark will either be smashed off the boarsds or drift like a barge,an interesting runner and maybe one to follow as aw season comes to an end..

Winter Derby

A very weak looking winter derby grendisar hasn't finished out of the first two in last 7 runs over c/d and may well even win again in a weak renewal, there don't seem to be many new horses with much potential in the race I get the impression its going to be a desperate finish with the field finishing close up.There maybe a little bit of value in Battalion he has finished behind grendisar 3 times, although got left last and was making ground at finish behind don't be the other two races ben beaten fair and square. There could be a slight angle wioth battalion coming back after a break last season ran 6th in the race after 4 month break, also in previous season after 5 month break returned to win.The break from December to the end of February should suit,he's still only had 19 lifetime runs and only 6 on the aw so could be more to come in what looks a weak renewal he could be the valu at 12/1,the 5 runs at lingfield returned sps 4/1,7/1/11/4 and 9/2.There's virtually nothing unexposed in the race bar festive fare 12/1 could easily be 6-7/1 on the day!!!

Easter classic

Basically same race but maybe letsgo will be running, doesn't look as good a bet as Saturdays race looking at the result if battalion had run anywhere near best would've been involved in the finish with maverick way finishing in second. This time though presently only 9/1 but again looking at the entrys same horses bar the godolphin horse, grendisars so consistent will always be incvolved but that form just looks weak so again coming back from the break looks like it will suit.Actually finished behing grendisar and letsgo last season in November but that was after 5/6 runs so only has 3ls to find, may even get some bigger prices yet..

Battalion 9/1 skybet...

Just a bit of interest for tomorrow poor stuff ew yankee

Easter mate 10/11 365 4/5 sportsbook/lads reasonable maiden form last season

Volunteer point 1/2 365/sportsbook think this will go off 1/4/2/9

Ask the guru 5/1 sportsbook 9/2 365 winnable mark lowest ever at lingfield

Basingstoke 11/4 365/lads looks booked for second may give fav race over extra furlong

Nice start to march lovely drift, these 3yr old maidens have been desperate all year anything running to 80 have looked unbeatable this season..

8.45 Kempton

Justice lady won in respectable time over 5fs at lingfield looked to have loads of improvement to come and gets to run off a mark of 62,is almost definitely the best horse in tomorrows race the negative us the jockey adam Mclean lots of rides and very few winners but of a surpriose booking. It's worth having a bet as even if gets beat will be one to follow could well be 10 pounds in at least,he takes off another 7 pound as well but that's pprobably negated with him riding could well go off 2s on in this race.If it gets beat will probably be down to the ride..

Pearl noir

An encouraging run from pearl noir, had only run on Monday when got taken on for the lead in pace battle beaten over 9ls,missed the break today unusual as very quick away
and yet stayed on well after conceding 6ls start from complete opposite running style.Today was off a mark of 64 looks like yet another drop in the weights from the two runs and yet looks in really good form, won off 67 by 3ls at Kempton last season and ran 2nd at Kempton off 72 april 2015,likely to be off 62 on next run and that will be lowest mark since December 2014 when won off 58 by 3ls.Looks worth following as season gets near end especially if can get uncontested lead, could easily get overlooked in betting..

Bad ride or horse made a boo boo? One to follow anyway, might be a bit of value next time with a good pilot up?

hoss had two problems..pulled like f00k..and the front end pace was way too strong..did well to finish where it did..had a double penalty energy wise..should have finished stone last.

hoss has a lot in hand of mark as shown by big figure on previous run

Was always going to be a poor ride as one of the worst riders out there,i very rarely take jocks into account when the horse looks so well in even though he did exactly as write up said the race was diabolical justice lady looked different class on the lingfield run..

its way in hand of mark..like i said before..i like it when they lose after a big figure..puts doubt in punters minds..better price next time

Your Pal Tal back over 5f drawn 2 tomorrow. Down to a mark of 71 now. Interesting one.

can it win at this level though Slim?..in last 18 months has raced for 8k or more with form figures of 80276000..whereas 7k or less 65232111558696. It looks to me that its nearly ready to show.. .. it jumps again to 11k tomorrow, It might win but wonder if a large drop in class is imminent after tomorrow.

3.05 Lingfield

Barren brook looks thrown in this claimer ted 73 and megan nicholls claiming another 7 pound, was even 3rd off 74 in September in competitive York handicap a repeat of that form on this surface and trip then will be impossible to beat. There's a ? on the aw yet so might be worth having a token bet on Matraash the 10yr old veteran, bviously does not win very often but was eyecatcher when 5th behind fern owl at wolves in a handicap off65 cantering at finish, bitb disappointing when 6thn in handicap over c/d to far behind and similarly behind vastly lack of pce again.Ravenous and matraash have best recent speedfigures so at slightly bigger price will have a token bet on matraash...

Matraash 7/1 ppower can see this going off 9/2 co fav so reasonable trade as well..

Still 6/1 ppower/hills
