3.05 Lingfield

Barren brook looks thrown in this claimer ted 73 and megan nicholls claiming another 7 pound, was even 3rd off 74 in September in competitive York handicap a repeat of that form on this surface and trip then will be impossible to beat. There's a ? on the aw yet so might be worth having a token bet on Matraash the 10yr old veteran, bviously does not win very often but was eyecatcher when 5th behind fern owl at wolves in a handicap off65 cantering at finish, bitb disappointing when 6thn in handicap over c/d to far behind and similarly behind vastly lack of pce again.Ravenous and matraash have best recent speedfigures so at slightly bigger price will have a token bet on matraash...

Matraash 7/1 ppower can see this going off 9/2 co fav so reasonable trade as well..

Still 6/1 ppower/hills

Wolowitz

A very poor looking maiden with 6ls winner wolowitz eventually hacking up was good for maybe another several lengths on top of this,if taken at face value going to be rated around 80 which may seem harsh considering only beating Burmese whisper thoroughly exposed rated 67.Infact it may prove very generous at least on this surface, the time only .04 slower than the class 4 for older horses winner crosse fire looked well handicapped taking the 3rd powerful wind as the marker in that race off 75 you'd have to think wolowitz could be at least a 90 horse on this surface and maybe in the future prove to be even better. There's also the possibility the handicvapper might underestimate this as second makes the race look very weak so the intial mark will be very interesting, been nothing from the 2yr olds bar the one mentioned on here previously so should take some beating back here and 6fs may be even better..

The figures never lie going to be rated 100+ now tonights time at wolves 59.77 monstrous time for horse with only 4 runs was beginning to think nothing decent was about but this one had stood out a mile on the figures from swell..tonights race .38 slower than boom the grooms track record looks more to come..;)

Was getting fed up of putting stuff on here with all the n/rs but with the to follows also winning everything and a few nice winners on here last few bets keeps me interested last two winners on here 16s give us a belle 20s was available after I put it on here and Matraash 9/2 in morning out to 12.5 just shows how straight the races are in low grade races dispelling myth about drifters...

Wolves yesterday was the fastest i've got recorded..last Feb for instance it got up to +36 fast..yesterday it bested it at +37

last few meets

8 feb = +29
12 feb = +27
15 feb = +34
19 feb = +30
22 feb = +35
23 feb = +36
26 feb = + 23
29 feb = +29
2 Mar = +28
4 Mar = +37

Not really paying to much attention to the times at wolves as the track in general is just very quick, couldv'e noted loads recently on finishing times but havn't bothered as exaggerated by surface but wolowitz is an exception as now done it at swell and wolves and even won with a bit in hand yesterday,a rariety to see a horse so good on both surfaces could be a bit special yet with only 5 runs..

Indian affair doesn't look the type to be betting with strike rate of just 3/41 on the aw but has been running as well as ever over the last 6 months,3rd to pharmaceutical and the progressive seychelloise over 7fs and a 3rd to the highly progressive bosham off 0 back in sptember over c/d.
Had actually been running better than ever on the turf as well,3rd to burning thread in a decent race off 70 has been hovering around this mid 60s mark for a while and ran well again last time out when 3rd to fingals cave the 4th national service has hacked up since. The main angle looks to be the pasce although not great draw in 7 it looks highly likely will be up throughout and wouldn't even surprise me if franny Norton went clear at some point and trades very low.His last win was with Norton riding and just from the pace angle with most of these runners hold ups then that makes him worth a small bet even though only won off 66 back in 2013,satchville flyer is well handicapped if coming back to form and can also lead.I'd expect indian affair to be nearer 3/1 in this race, may even be shorter so a little trade in there and possibility in running!!

KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKAAAABBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!Still the best thread on the net!!Strike rates monstrous at the moment great ride from franny,if he'd gone with leader might've gone to hard been taking 9/2 all morning thought it would be 3/1 tops when I got up,strange betting as different class to them on recent form although shortened up a fair bit near the off..another cracking weekl coming up hopefully..

Try to get a bite off some of the goons that are from betfair etc I know they are looking in but never post lurking away, only have to look at the views, strange when you look back to june time all the posts from various posters as soon as you start putting bets up and winners they have nothing to say..:ninja: tumbleweeds... as I said just as I like it!!

If you backed indian affair with 365 and got 4/1 it was one of their feature races so you have a free bet upto the stake of £50 on the 5.20 can't be bad..:D

Eurato

Probably as poor a race as you'll see and not really my sort of races, but thought the run of the winner eurato on first run for steve gollings was eyecatching, drawn 14 first time over trip thought the horse did well to quicken so convincingly from not great position coming into the straight. He eventually won by a length from sudden wish and will get a small rise but looked to have plenty in hand at finish. He was rated in the 80s when running in france johns spearing didn't get anything out of him and even though this was a terrible race his previous few runs had looked no better,it's hard to know if he will be any better than this as it may just have been a race he couldn't lose but visually gave the impression he could be s;ightkly higher grade than these. Will keeo him in mind for new stable looks like a small rise these sort of distance races are usually desperate anyway never kind in this grade and it may also be this track suited hopefully will follow up again next time out..

5.40 kempton

Rezwaan 10yr old veteran keeps gtting run over a mile which for two seasons hasn't been his trip and usually finishes out the back, won 2 races in march and june last year one off 49 by 5ls and then just four races later by 4 1/2ls off 55 kemptons his track and those were both over 1m3fs.That took him into the 60s,with all the runs over the wrong trip over a mile combination of tracks and also different headgear tomorrow he reverts back to kempton over 1m2fs plus with usual winning blinkers and gets to drop into this grade for the first time since winning those two races. The price's are very disappointing though in what looks a competitive race star links and top pocket have best recent form,it matbe a run down field and then 20s next time out and if gets dropped a pound can even drop another grade. Will have a token bet as everything is ideal, but he's worth watching out for over the next few weeks of remaining all weather season when he could be huge prices, betting will be interesting tomorrow big gamble or big drifter..
