First 2yr old maiden winner to beat an older handicappers time rated 70 winner by .63 of a second and although there would normally be a dozen like this at this stage this season there has been one so far,it's worth having a bet at the current 16/1 and 14/1 on offer.Mark Johnston trained horse won withloads in hand and was backed up by the third which won easily on debut and the runner up has since won by 7ls so the form looks rock solid..This might crash in the betting over the next couple of d days

Some clown has put up cash at 15.0 on Betfair and now everyone who has priced the race has cut the horse.

If this is someone reading this thread then please stop ******* theses markets for everyone else by putting up these retarded requests.

6.20 Chepstow

Dusty blue looks interesting runs off 55 first time ever in this grade, has been last in last 5 runs and the one previous to that 7/10 that has enabled mark to drop to 55 from the 68 it finished the turf season on.The horse has only had 7 lifetime runs on the turf all last seasson has won off 65 and been 2nd off 68 and both on different ground so that looks immaterial, also massive eyecatcher is return of tongue tie worn for most of its best runs but not for the last 6 races. This could be an absolute huge gamble in a very poor race,is the best horse in the race if reproducing any of its turf form from last year and the betting will be the huge positive especially if laid out for the race.certainly wouldn't surprise me if went off 3/1 -7/2 or vice versa 20/1

Dusty blue 10/1 365 8/1 ppower/hills

Would that small a bet trigger a reaction ante post?

Firms are slaves to the machines and so are punters.

Punter see its 15.0 to lay and takes 14/1. Bookmaker cuts it based on liability
Bookmakers seas its 15.0 to lay and cuts to 12/1 regardless of bets laid.

Putting cash up on an ante post market on an unexposed horse like that is treason in my book.

Could easily be something better this weekend lots of maidens and the maiden on sunday air force blue won last year plus several others at other meetings, could do with a more obscure trainer throwing one out like that runner up to air force blue last year in that maide..,

Carravagio looked very good time seemed decent as well compare to rest,of the card thought prices might've held up but shortened now so no value, although probably unsure which race it will be going for till the one tomorrow runs...

Gilmer 25/1 365

Gilmer looks interesting, the trainer has only had 1 winner in 5 seasons so is always going to be bigger than they should if any sort of respectable form profile.Gilmers win record isn't any better either is yet to win from 26 starts but is now racing off lowest ever mark was rated 81 in 2014 tomorrow off 52 with claimer taking off 5 pound. He ran 3rd to hickster off 57,4th to lyrical off 57 and a very good 2nd to heavens guest off 57 in summer all at wolves, then ran 3rd to zaria on the turf befoe 3 no shows over hurdles then last 3 runs strangely dropped to 6fs and 7fs.His last run was wide and ridden under hand'sn heels was better than result appeared, those races from the summer were slightly better than tomorrows race on those runs you wouldn't have him any bigger than 10/1 and he's getting priced up on last few runs and trainer. He's obviously not totally reliable as runs a bit keen in some races but has a relative consistent profile in races that were slightly better than this and has to be worth a small bet.Hard to know if it will be big gamble but on last summers form here would really be less than a 10/1 shot, probably one to keep following as prices get bigger and bigger in these weak races, obviously backing a trainer with 1 winner in 5 seasons then it's speculative but at least horse has run the same sort of race in these and better grades, theydon grey looks the obvious pick after todays poor ride

Gilmer 33/1 ppower 25/1 365

Took a few runs for the trainer to find right conditions for it, over 5fs on soft at Chepstow but won easily yesterday at 11/1, well spotted Giggs!

One of the most impressive debuts of the season, this 2yr old maiden winner out of dark angel running green and picking up with loads of toe in last 1/2 furlong looked completely different class to these with 3 1/2ls back to well backed second and over 11 1/2ls back to decadent times, that runner only beaten that far by sutter county so far on debut so backed up by the form of the 70 rated runner as well.I highlighted this race last year when dhamaan won now rated 100 and beat ajaya 114,looks a natural entry for Norfolk to me will be watching out for prices as can see huge gamble the Norfolk would seem the most sensible entry. The class 3 on the card won by 85 rated tangerine trees was only.19 quicker but carried 5 pound less even though that race wasn't run at any great pace, the 2yr old hacked up in comparison.

Abe lincoln looks interesting in the Britannia,i mentioned previously when he ran at York that the sire is prolific on the dirt but few winners on turf and has never had a winner on good or soft ground but strangely 2 winners from ten runners on g/fm.On second ever run at lingfield was hacking up behind in lst 2 furlongs got no run looked like would've hacked up and instead of being on a mark of 100 got dropped 2 pound, to 93,he then made his turf debut at York on goodish ground and was outpaced but again full of running entering the final 2 furlongsd had to switch left and was gaining ground under easy ride looked second best horse in race to me.The runner up chief whip was 2nd on Saturday at haydiock behind Garcia and the winner from the lingfield race haalick was unlucky behind oh this is us at goodwood, that leaves abe licoln looking absolutely chucked in he should've beaten both haalick and chief whip and they head the brittania market plus he has 12 pound turnaround with haalick on the aw run and a 12 pound turnaround with chief whip.
If he can repeat that those two runs over the extra furlong could easily make a for being clear favouriyte for this race, the extra furlong should suit,he's less likely to get a troubled run and the ground is highly likely to be quick at the ascot meeting.Looks another runner that wil be heavily backed leading upto the race on only 4th ever lifetime run.

Right for gigilo groupies there might be a good angle tomorrow

Chupalla who gigilo put up here runs against the Coventry fav Mehmas tomorrow in the 6.35 Sandown.

Now if gigilo is right about this filly being a beast, and we have no reason to doubt him, than a few things will happen on the back of this.

  • Mehmas will no longer be fav for the Coventry
  • Yalta, who gigilo put up here, is running in a 4 runner race in the Ponterfact 7.30 on Friday and this will have a big barring on the Coventry betting.
  • Caravaggio might be more likely to go for the 6f option

I'm not sold on my third point but there is a very related angle in the first two. I have helped myself to the double at a cracking 57.5/1. This could easily be a 9/2 shot Saturday morning if both horses win. I can see Chupalla going off shorter than 7/2 and I'm sure Yalta will be odds on. This is a cheap way to get a position on two gigilo horses.

Sandown 6.35
Chupalla 7/2

Coventry Stakes Royal Ascot
Yalta 12/1

Double 57.5/1

Cupulla was the second maiden of the season so even though 7/2 would be a major shock if won tomorrow, although if she could win or run second then the 10/1 about the Albany and 25s in Queen mary would be halved if she won she'd be near fav..

If she wins then she's highly unlikely to go for the Albany.

Mokarris

Another interesting runner and a decent time on the clock,on debut still looking green and looks a horse that will appreciate real fast ground, sire 15% on gd/fm the time was .30 quicker than dream of dreams runner up to sutter county on debut winner of 2nd div and also just .05 slower than 3yr old handicap winner wayward hoof rated 77.That time isn't as good as yaltas run at goodwood but still wouldn't surprise me if turned out just as good as looks like there's loads more to come, betting wise only entered in the Coventry 14/1 hopefully will go for something else at a similar price might even take a price for the Coventry but waiting to see some bigger prices and definite entry...

Prince of lir

Lots of interesting runners coming along now, prince of lir winning on debut beating brocklesby winner the last lion running green the form didn't look great but the time suggests decent form,as was quicker than the following Hilary needler by .38 and remembering it was prince of lirs debut. The time was actually quickerthan easton angel won the Hilary neelder on similar going last season, just checking through entries only in Norfolk so far and only priced up at 10/1 so books giving nothing away in a hot race, hopefully will be entered in one of the other races at far bigger prices. This looks like another listed class horse at least with normal improvement and at least has something on the clock. Will be keeping a close on on ante post prices, wouldv'e considered 20s for the Norfolk vbut with the front three looking decent the 10s is to short may get bigger yet when proper runners get declared..
