Looks like could be desperate ground yet again relying on horses going on it worth a few small bets and done some ew multiples..wouldn't be surprised if inspections with current rain.

Ballard town ran well on seasonal debut in a competitve handicap at ascot over a mile 4th of 16 thats thrown up a few winners and the winner taurean ran 7th in the brittania, this is a weaker race but the ground will be very soft maybe heavy. The sire canford cliffs has good record on soft ground 8/33 but interestingly 0/7 on heavy, worth giving a second chance after a poor run on the aw.surprisingly going off 5/2 in that race which looking back although beaten would seem a big price compared to the ascot race. The betting could be very informative especially on turf and if a preference for soft ground, heavy as shown 0/7 which ground could be negative with more rain forecast, plenty of horses have soft ground form in the race so needs to prove himself on it but the ascot form is the best in the race worth a small bet.Safely assume needs fast ground if drifts tomorrow as the ascot race was very quick, will be noting for fast ground if unplaced..

A race with quite a few open to improvement,i mentioned sixties groove when multi gifted ran at lingfield earlier in the week, coming out of the race sixties groove won at kempton in a decent time, forms been let down by the second and although multigifted was unplaced think it was unlucky in the lingfield race lack of pace.Sixties groove out of sixties icon could be open to improvement and with the sire having decent record on soft and heavy 3/21 then conditions may suit, runs off 71 revised mark that would look nice on the aw but has to prove it on this going. The two biggest dangers both look like will handle softer going and both have come out of decent maidens folly bergere and guns of leros might be worth doing some forecasts..

A real dodgepots race might be worth a token bet on foxford very weak form won an aw race off 52 but has only had 7 runs on the turf and last two runs on softer ground over 6fs has shown early pace and some improvement with a 3rd to secret look over the 6fs at tomorrows track windsor amd a fourth to the progressive gilmer at sailsbury. Those two races were better than tomorrows and drops a furlong and gets a further drop of 2 pound plus mitch godwin takes off 7 a reproduction of those two runs then could at least hit the frame but with unknons of draw and consistency wouldn't be overconfident.Worth giving a small chance to,although i think they need some sort of headgear as horse is racing with head in the air and probably won't win till thats sorted but does race with enthusiasm.
Oscars journey is chucked in on last years turf form, winning off 71 and his aw runs have got him down to 60 never run in this class before on turf
so has obvious chance will win if anything like better than acurrent mark of 60 and potternello although no 5f form will like the ground and again might be worth doing some forecasts..

Midnight rider might be a little bit of value, gets to run off 74 lowest mark since april 2012 but with claim lowest since may 2011 even this season has run at a different level when 6th of 12 to stakes acclaim over 5fs staying on off 80 bit disappointing at bath last time out on fast ground but has decent record at chepstow 4/1/1/5/3 won off 81 last august over c/d on good ground. The negative could be the jockey alice mills no winners this season but has rode a few gilmer and emerald loch makes the market although obviously fav could be thrown in as 3yr olds they seem to be winning all these weakish handicaps recently..

Burningfivers is lightly raced 3yr old out of pace boy,won off 65 over 6fs at this track and then on last run of 2015 was second to zealous
off 69 at haydock, zealous was recent winner off 79 in decent handicap at donny the third hairdryer has run a decent 3rd to manjaam at wolves off 71 the ffth highland flame has won twicve since and hacked up by 6ls on the 12th of june at donny. That piece of form was under richard hannon, and burningfivers went off 33/1 on debut run for joseph tuite over inadequate 6fs at kempton ran respectable race staying on and the 4th rosalee has franked it on saturday night, the betting will be really interesting in this race as that piece of form is better than anything seen si far in this race and if he's got the horse spot on for second run and the pound drop enabkinh him to run in this race will surely be backed on ground and track and trip he has shown preference for.Another worth noting for future reference if no show as looks well handicapped..

Seriously going to have to consider packing in this season, another meeting abandoned where all the value was two decent prices smashed up and then left with the few I put in to make up some multiples some much smaller fancies crazy far more meetings being abandoned in summer than winter..

Another desperate meeting at brighton probably in the main races i would avoid but there are a few from ground and big drops in grade that could be heavily gambled, for anyone wanting just to trade them at worst if plenty of rain..could be some big price collapses on some very poor horses..couple of small ew multiples

2.45 Brighton

Essaka a 4yr old running in a low grade sprint has only had 17 lifetime turf runs yet two wins a seller and a win off 54 last august over c/d by 3ls,later in month second to vincentti off 62 on gd/sft in a race for horses rated upto 75and also third to great expectations off 65 for horses rated upto 80.
Five runs on the aw getting the mark back down to 60,then reappearence over this c/d again but on gd/fm ground no form on it in recent times all its recent form has been on slower ground, has been given yet another 3 pound drop and although not overly keen on jockey paddy pilley if the ground is what the horse needs could be a huge gamble on last seasons form from the tony carroll stable. back on 54 with claim of 5 pound.
There's absolutely no form in the race bar spirit of rosanna on soft ground may win by default but you may just see essaka going off some crazy short price in a race that would take little winning...

Essaka 7/1 365

Another desperate race for horses rated upto 55 and difficult to find much form in the race for horses with easier ground form, there's a real speculative one from blanshard stable with probert riding Abertillery, horse formerly with gosden and was 4th off 69 to sea wolf at donny october 2015.Hasn't shown a great deal for michael blanshard but run respectably over further trips and also on april 3rd in a novice hurdle, ran again at newbury tailed off over 1m4fs you'd have to ignore that run but off just a mark 52 with ground on soft side would only have to retain a bit of that ability from last season to figure in this terrible race as bad as it gets,if uts ever going to run well will be in a race like this pieces applied...

Abertillery 15/2 365/sportsbook/hills/victor 8/1 betbright

Another speculative one, again based around track and ground Long island was second on heavy ground on second ever run for james eustace and also in october although 4th of 6 was over the 7fs again at the track was off a mark of 67,after that ran on the aw disappointed had two runs over longer trips not staying although didn't run that badly over 1m 2 1/2furlongs in different class race fading over a furlong out.
Mark brisbourne has trained for last 3 runs returned to brighton 7th of 10 this season, that race was a far better race than tomorrows and was on fastish ground, the mark has tumbled after the last few runs down to 51 and again paddey pilley takes off the 5 conditions should be ideal with softer ground.Thats 20 pound below last years form obviously relying on ground showing return to form, but also like the fact mark brisbourne travels from shropshire and he owns the horse although does have three other runners so may not be that significant, not massive gambling stable but will be bet if they fancy it and have it right stable hasn't had a winner yet so even though in this poor race couldn't be confident looks worth a speculative bet.

Another race where softer ground form difficult to find a coupe that do have form on softer ground the thoroughly exposed Baltic prince had loads of racing but reasonable strike rate for horse that always in the mid 60s,last win was off 65 at chester in october is back down to that mark again and george downing claims another 3 pound.Hasn't been much encouragement from recent runs but looking through his races and times seems to run better when grounds on the slow side, may even trade quite low as usually leads and drawn 4,the slight angle could be the ground if thats what it needs. The other one in the race is port lairge won 4/19 on turf all those at brighton last win was off 60 by 7ls that was in this grade,is off 65 tomorrow but run lots of decent races off slightky higher and at the track, this looks like the one that will probably be gambled with course and ground record. The softer the conditions more chance of a gamble with most of the runners preferring quicker ground..

Getting ridiculous forecast ground was gd/sft with 11mm of rain on top and most of the picks were backed as if that was the case, was blatantly obvious after first race was good ground, very unusual to see going reports wrong that way riund you'd usually expect it be softer not quicker, bets had no chance at least you could've got out of them if you chose to.
Just seems to be impossible to have a bet pre race and rely on going reports..

Interesting Gigilo...because I've just put one up on the other thread under the assumption the ground will be soft tomorrow at Salisbury.
Now we have Gd-St so I'm wondering will it be good ground by tomorrow, hope not!

Been like it since beginning of the season anyone betting night before must be scratching their heads following day but the times are there to see, trouble is if you want to keep track of all the form you have to do it the night before I do it two days in advance so if going reports are wrong then the bets just make you look stupid.Been relentless recently, seems to be every other day going reports are wrong, just a complete guessing game the obvious thing to do is bet once the meetings started but doing that for 5/6 meetings it's not physically possible.

Vmy ridge has been very disappointing on the aw bar a very decent 2nd off 81 in February, looked worth following but missed the break races after and return to turf hasn't shown much although a 3rd at newmraket but was beaten 6ls,those two runs were on soft ground though and all recent best form has been good or gd/fm.Last season finished with a second to shipyard off 86 and had been runner up in this race off 84 last season, now returns to turf off lowest ever mark 77,could only be a speculative pick as a little uncertainty of the ground hopefully will have dried out a little by racetime.Come on dave also looks thrown in off 76 with 3 pound claim and if getting the lead could easily figure drawn 9 would be the negative but wouldn't surprise of ran well..There is rain forecast so that would be a negative for vimy ridge if it arrives, the angle looks to be on decent ground..

Poets society has already won over the c/d the time of its tapeta win was almost identical to the handicap coto won on the same night has an aw rating of 86 which looks about right but could be still a couple of pounds better.Somethings going to have tio run to a mark of 90 to win this race and that could well happen but on form shown so far there isn't like that anything in the race, will be a little unlucky if runs into something running to that mark.

Dark command looks like one to avoid but looking at the times of his losses looks to have been very unlucky,2nd to gunmetal winner since that day at sailsbury was .80 quicker than gilmer winning older handicap and carried more weight, again went off short over tomorrows c/d looking disappointing. That race was interesting as the following winner on the card papa luigi won in a slightly quicker time but won by 3 3/4ls rated 75 has won again since and now rated 87,dark command carried 8 pound more and was 2kls slower it suggests that his rating could well be right. If this had been good ground then would've looked a banker but grounds going to be desperate,i think he's still worth backing and even if getting beat I will follow him again as circumstances are just making him looking to fall short,he may infact be huge value if gets beat tomorrow. If he handles ground tomorrow then he should win

I havn't really been taking too much notice of the form at Newcastle, usually a bit meaningless till track beds in but yesterday a massive eyecatching time the above 3yr old handicap won by 67 rated awesome quality, the 3yr old handicap only .22 slower than the class 2 for older horses. The winner of that race was mr bossy boots rated 91 carrying 8-12 awesome quality carried a pound more yet rated 24 pound inferior not forgetting wfa,the winner looks like getting a 10 pound rise but at least on the aw looks chucked in based on those times.Maybe even worth noting wowcha as well only rated 74 might not get put up anything so can stay in same grade a second slower than mr bossy boots but carried 6 pound more and even more interesting the 2nd div of the 3yr old handicaps was 1.1 seconds slower than awesome qualitys race yet that winner won by 6ls as well so wowcha sitting off 75 at least on this surface could also n
be well handicapped.

Like the look of Vimy Ridge as well gigolo. Trainer does well when bringing horses to Northwest tracks and had one run well at Chester last night so no concerns on that front. Also a small bet on his horse in the first , Rosabella.

Desert law was big eyecatcher in the Scottish sprint cup at musselburugh, jock losin iron coming out of stalls getting shuffled back to last then hampered 3/4 times as was cantering on the frenetic pace eventually getting a clear run in last 1/2 furlong motoring at finish, whether he would've won impossible to say but would surely have gone close,he looks one to follow after that run as looks in realy good form.
Last season was 3rd in this corresponding race off 97 off 98 tomorrow so at the age of 8 hardly well handicapped, although he would've been at least 4 pound higher if getting a run at musselburugh. This race has a few improvers and the race might be a bit to good for him, also there's a ? over ground likes it quick and at the moment still riding on slow side of good probably needs it to dry out a little, will have to have a small bet on him just purely that he looks in such good form and he has a decent draw in 10 from the 13 runners.

Birdmans worth a bet as may turn into a decent trade 7/1 I could easily see 4/1 or shorter, there seem to be ? around every runner grounds very slow at Windsor some have ? over trip others ground and some both.Birdman was a big improver last season, you wouldn't really expect a 6yr old winning off lifetime highest mark of 104 but he did run 4th in the Lincoln on desperate ground and last time out ran ok,could be a big gamble without even winning so could be nice trade..

Abberley dancer looks interesting although trainer is in abysmal form plus drawn 12 so quite a few negatives, the positives are dropping from 71 earlier in season and now down to a mark of 65 a 3rd at lingfield to summer chorus and discreet hero and run in a decent time, plus other runs in a class 4 and 3 although finishing only 5/6 and 4/5 were far better races than this.Needs to prove still retains that ability, but the two latest turf marks enabled to drop in to this weakish handucap.
Ellie hart still looks well handicaped improved form over 7fs in recent runs, although on debut run was 2nd over 6fs at lingfield behind 59 rated harmony bay,but harmony bay had experience claimer takes off 7 tomorrow so only off 49 potential there for more races to be won if can hanfdle drop back in trip..

Abberley dancer 16/1 365/victor / Ellie hart 6/1 victor/ 7/1 13/2 generally..

20/1 victor/365.

Most celebrated will be the best horse in this race on debut the maiden it was runner up in was only slightly slower than the handicap won by 80 rated galvanize won by 3ls,with natural improvement this could well be a 90 horse. The big? is ground new approach not so great on very soft ground although does have winners, but on heavy only 1/37 although win or lose looks like another going off 3s on so should be nice trade..

Nightingale valley has two very nice runs and could be going down the handicap route, although this is a weak maiden so probably worth risking that it will be trying,a 3rd at sailsbury to short work on debut race was almost a second quicker than the other maiden contested by horses in mid high 70s.Then went to goodwood ad ran in what was another decent maiden, finishing 6th the 7th won next time out now rated 82 and the 2nd 4th and 5th also won next tme out, this is a weak maiden if trying i'd expect prices to be heavily backed. Will be watching this one carefully, fav greenfayre looks obvious alternative..Cannot see why this wouldn't be fav if running to those first two runs so betting should be a giveaway..

Frap has the best form in the race been running in better races than this and looks the one to beat if at best has form going this way round and all grounds although causey arch improved last time out against older horses going this way riund at Hamilton and open to improvement...
