Didn't stay on the ground last time out,the race was slow by 4.5 seconds and that was just 7fs that was soft ground a couple in that race like lord glitters loved it and now head the market its quite unusual to get that much racing at ascot on sift ground gd/sft would be ok but don't want soft ground on the day just the risk you take with ante post bets,won't put me off I hope it goers 25s.And if it does come up quick then the ground will be against those that ran well over the 7fs at ascot and betting will change..

Am not sure how anyone has this 25/1,even if it doesn't win or place looks like being heavily gambled at these prices thought it would open 10-12/1 and still be backed so some money to be made trading regardless thos could well go off under double figures.Has been mainly contesting class 2 and 3 handicaps and has some good form at the track,this season 6th of 18 to viscount barfield over the mile here,3rd to makazemm off 91 atNewmarket in front of favourite shady Mc coy,2nd to easy tiger off 91,another 7th of 14 beaten just 2ls in a class 2 behind chifofchiefs 4th to get knotted off 91 over c/d again.Been running on various grounds from gd/fm to gd/sft think the only ground doesn't like is soft which would excuse the last run,the main negative is the horse doesn't win too often but most of its form this season is as good as anything,last wek I mentioned shgay mc coy and again wouldn't surprise me if that one won again,prices are ridiculous and will halve iin price minmum even though its win record isn't great..
Tomorrow runs off just 85 and drops into a class 4 first time since this time last year..

Was cantering the last 1/2 mile,but those 2 mile races with no pace from that position no chance was surprised he even tried to get in the frame,best horse in the race but thays the problem with 2mile races on the aw they are very rarely run at a decent pace..

The wahon wheel seems in and out but twop oits very poor runs have been on softer ground,did run in the ponte race with queen kindly and eartha kitt drawn wiode so could excuse that,then ran in the beverlety bullet giving the field 6ls stasrt to be only beaten 1 1/4ls bt take cover.That form is as good as anything in tomorows race,but another furlong but grounds goping to be quick another 100 yards would've won the Beverley race by a couple of lengths,two 110 rated horses just infront,this could be a group horse next season and i'd imagine last race tomorrow so will be going on my to follows for next season regardless of result.

Got this almost spot on,backed it all the way diwn to 12/1 and laid half a barrow off at 11.5 with some ew bits at 25s,20s and 16s running on...pity there wasn't a race like this everyday..
 
Hope you had a saver on shady mc coy again that's twice in back to back weeks,horse has been flying all season...

Denmead 14/1 sportsbook/ppower

Denmeads been progressive stepped up to these distance races has only had 18 lifetime runs three wins was recently 2nd off 79 on the aw at Kempton over 2mile in a 0-85 but penulyimaste run was only beaten 9ls over 2m4fs at goodwood in a 0-100 on gd/sft ground,led over 3fs out and tomorrow back to the 2mile at goodwood.Disappointed last time out,but tried to make the running in a class 2 cesarewitch trial,tomorrows race jump jocks ride and gavin Sheehan rides had 4 winners yesterday.Negative could be trainer has been out of form no winners in last 14 runnwers but had a decent season and horse dropd into a 0-80 athough its a very competitive race..Can't really see how its going to be bigger than 7-8/1 based on the goodwood run tops..decent trade..

Medburn cutler 13/2 365/sunbets/corals/sportsbook

Medburn cutler stuck in the high 70s but rarely runs a bad race form on gd/sft ground 1/3/4/3/1/5/2/4/1 this season already two 2nds over this c/d off 76 races for horses rated upto 85 and 90,plus a 4th and and 2nd in back to back runs at Chepstow in an 85 and then a 90 rated race at Chepstow.Last time out only beaten 11ls in that ceeaewitch trial,get the impression this horse is better value in better races but can easily see this going off a lot shorter with so much solid form in slightly better races and has the track form as well.Again seem to have fallen on a trainer out of form,but prices look like contracting and overall trainer has 13% strike rate in the flat last 5 seasons..not my sort of races tyhese distabce races but at least look like shorteners..I can see medburn cutler going off around 4/1 in this race srong fav and decent trade..

Bit frustrating denmead not running but won a nice few quid on the race traded 2.36 medburn cutler after drifting to 7.4 strange drift and took 1.75 for 4 places...

Stellarta 10/1 skybet/sportsbook

Had a little bet on this earlier at 12/1,wasn't going to bother putting it up as race looks ridiculously competitive but then remembered I put it up last time out at Kempton so better put it up again as it seems all horses I have oput here recently when beaten have won on next runs.Stellarta hasn't won in 14 months,but she has some decent form and was beaten 3ls by boy in the bar over c/d in may,but now has a turnaround in weights of a stone and no guarantee boy in the bar will run to best on softer ground,although similarly stellartas best form has been on good ground she ran ok when 5th in the stewards consolation on soft ground in august over this c/d though.That was her only respectable run on soft ground so wouldn't be overly confident with plenty of soft ground horses in the race,she deserves to win a race think she will pick something uop but maybe on the aw she's worth a small bet..

Useless at the moment am not surprised though not really seeing anything in the prices,should really have a few days off and just wait for the aw season but as I've spent hours doing these three meetings will have some small ew multiles etc,doesn't look a day for getting rich..have picks in every race can't be backing lots of horses at 4-5/1 when prices look about right.There are ? over the ground as well yarmouths unbelievably been watered,mussulburugh and Windsor not been updated since Saturday,i presume Windsor will be gd maybe gd/gdfm and musselburugh gd/sft maybe gd/gdsft...

A very weak looking handicap for horses rated upto 75,gabrial the tiger won on heavy ground last time out at chester and is only 2 pound higher after that win is also 3/3 over c/d. won three races back to back last season last one off 80,as mentioned it maybe the ground that would be a negative if it has dried out but looks the obvious pick in the race.Roaring forties could be the one to take advantage were it to speed up a little,finished 3ls behind gabrial the tiger at chester only has a pounhd pull,but ran well to be second over c/d to dark profit in a 0-85 previous run so wouldn't surprise me if this one shortened up a lot.Has a habit of missing the break but has fiorst time pieces on tomorrow..

Saga sprint an exposed handicapper in a very poor race,rated just 53 has been running in slightly better races than this most of the season all on slower ground,started season on 68 now that 53 ran ok over c/d when 3rd to askari in a 0-60 and not to bad although beaten 7ls in a 0-70 in a five horse race behind minginrocks. The most interesting run is when it won its only race in a claimer in fairyhouse rated 70beating a 73 rated runner june 2016 that was on gd/fm ground yet in last 11 runs nothing better than gd/sft although was 3rd at wolves over 1m4fs off 73 now 20 pund lower and that was only second run for current stable.Might be an angle in the ground maybe not,betting will be interesting in a dire race..

Drifting like a barge 10/1 generally 11/1 betstars,perhaps no show todaty 14.5 on betfair,will be watching this closely..

Firmament is building up a really good profile at ascot has been stuck on a mark of 109 so couldn't say well handicappee but contested loads of good races this season 5th to stamp hill when held up in last finishing strongly in heritage handicap over 7fs at ascot,3rd to flaming spear over a mile at York in another ridiculously competitive handixcap and then again 5th to remarkable over 7fs at ascot held up last again finishing strongly.In 2016 was 2/2/3/3 at ascot off marks of 102,106,108 and 109 was 3rd in this corresponding race last year at 7/1 running on strongly at finish,most of the races he's been beaten in have been over 7fs yet all four wins have been over a mile,ground seems immaterial sand almost looks sure to run with form on track plus most ground.It maybe even the softer ground has been slightly against him and if the ground does turn out goodish could be a slight positive as quite a few hordes he will be running against oor finished behind may prefer that softer ground.Can't really see why he will be 25/1 on the day,in his last 19 runs has gone off double figure prices only twice and those were the runs when 5th to stamp hill unlucky in run and 3rd to flaming spear,could easily go off 12-14/1 with so many positives he has very little to find with this seasons winners in front of him in the betting and with extra distance and pull in weights.The biggest positive is track and almost guaranteed to run with maybe quite a few runners ground dependant..

Currently ground gd/fm so ground is favouring firmament more rain forecast from Wednesday onwards but should be good ground at worst the same as ;last year when he was 3rd,have just looked at his last two results over 7fs at ascot and every runner that finished infront of him has a preference for softer ground in both races and are all shorter in the betting.A lot of those runners may not even run if the ground is gd/fm but will definitely drift and firmament will definitely shorten looks like being 14/1 tops to me probably shorter especially if there's any firm in the going,of course may not run will be keeping an eye out for any 25s going,i doubt it but there's 20/1 with 5 books currently..

A couple of ew multiples

Liecester 5.0

Zamperini 10/1 ppower 9/1 skybet/8/1 victor Parish boy 25/1 365/lads/skybet/betfred/totesport/corals/betway..

Zamperini exposed handicapper but has run two solid races on slower ground in a couple of competitive races,last three runs 4th to capton in a 0-85,2nd to lunar jet in a 0-85 and a 2nd to solar cross in a 0-90 hard to knock those runs,a couple of 3yr olds head the market all these races lately seem to be winning from the age group if zamperini runs to last three runs should at least be involved in the finish dropped into a 0-75
More speculative would be parish boy,although does have similar ability to zamperini already this season has been 3rde to capton in a 0-85,even the 6th at York to carnegeo looks ok a 0-90 and although is not the most reliable 25/1 especially with Josephine Gordon riding can see this being a decent trade.Certainly no 25/1 shot if it ran to those better class races form now into a 0-75..

Kempton 8.45

Katabatika 5/2 365

Katabatika won by 3 3/4ls eased last time and the time for grade 2m31.25 very quick for a horse in such a low grade race have been a bit dubious the times at Kempton lately as going is reported as slow/standard when infact its actually riding pretty quick so the winning time could be flattering the horse.This still looks like going off 2s on to me with Kirby booked,there are a couple of interesting ones the bottom one with Nicola curry riding,seems to be improbving with stepping up in trips and maybe worth a saver/forecast off just a mark of 45 and her claim..



Leicester 5.30

Flight of fantasy 10/1/ppower/hiils/sunbets/corals/10bet/marathonbet/.. 11/1 betfred/totyesport/lads/365/totesport/betway/victor

A bit speculative as flight of fantasy has been running over further,but does have the best known form even though there are at least 3/4 unexposed ones has only had eight races itself won its maiden here beating face the facts over 1m4fs now rated 104,been a bit in and out since although a recent 4th of 8 to at newbury probably good form in cvontext of some of these rynners.Has been dropped back dramatically in trip to 1m2fs,presume will be off infront if quick enough and although trip drop looks a negative did show some speed over a mile on first three ever runs..

Kempton 5.15

Atlanta belle 2/1 365/betway

Nothing in the price of this,would imagine will drift has not won over this trip and really only shown form of late,last time out was second to treacherous that horse has let the form down although the time of that race Atlanta belle was second in suggest there should be another win in this type of grade.

What a joke these going reports are 5.8 on going stick that would be telling me soft they had gd/sft I thought they underplayed it,just looked at results two races below standard times and even the seller was only slow by 1.37 seconds and all my form is based on gd/sft the ground is good how they have the going stick at 5.8 is just nonsense..

Imminent approach ran in the fastest 2yr old mile maiden this season at Kempton,was very green out the back never looked like getting involved till staying on at finish eventually beaten 5ls,not even sure the extra 2fs will be enough as they tend to crawl at lingfield but undoubtedly has ability.
I would think this ones worth following just based on the Kempton run would suggest to me at least an 80 run on debut with improvement on top,it might even be though the 1m4fs will be preferable but still an interesting runner for future handicaps,hopefully there will be some pace on and not end up falsely run race..Obvioualy yabass could be better than these and maybe worth having a reverse forecast having achieved much higher ratings and also unexposed..


Kempton 7.15

Am surprised your choice is only 3/1 against some of these trainers considering laura mongan trains,i had this one marked off aftr debut run ran ok at goodwood behind threading
very mixed messages from both the maidens lots of runners in behind rated in 80s,90s etc but alsi quite a few rated in mid 60s.She then ran in a group 3 race as I've been saying all sesson these 2yr olds must be the worst I've ever seen so wouldn't read too much into her being in a group 3 race although the horse that finished behind her in last in that race has won recently so at least adss some substance to form.Out of sire fox wedge decent group sprinter in Australia,has a decent strike rate ion the courses like kenmpton,lingfield and over varying distances from 5fs to a mile.
Over tomorrows 7fs stands at 15% she is drawn 1 not much value in price when she may only be as good as her rating,but as she's drawn 1 and sire could show her improving for surface plus the stoute horse on what its shown on slow ground so far doesn't look anythung special then maybe experience will count for something..Would imagine thios could be one of those if it doesn't stat the 7fs from the 1 draw could trade exteemely low in running from that 1 stall,so at least looks decent in running..

A hounds classified race for horses rated uptp 55,everythings completely exposed it seems as though chough showed improved form last time out,
it looks like getting massively overbet and going off a silly price simply because the recent course form of the others is so poor even though chough has finished behind these before at other tracks..

Was going to put it up last night,but they forecast no rain,have been ill for the last 2 weeks so been in bed got up saw it had rained wordismybond got beat so was hoping it would drift from 7/4 started backing the places from 1.38 upwards to 1.5 place with approval hates soft ground and was 9/2 massive val;ue on the fav on the place side then drifted to 3.3 and 3.35..Had the second as the only possible improver..
 
Desperate stuff on this ground ew multiples to very small stakes,price wise there should be a few nice trades so thought it was worth doing something..hard this time of year as can get things so wrong with so many horses hating desperate ground..

A similar thing may happen in the 7f race and they come stands side this race looks impossible although can see the pace from echo of lightening from the 10 draw which may bring them standside,will be another slightly speculative bet but from the 11 draw.He's a bit of a veteran now looking like a mile suits best but been running quite well when conditons suit,won a class 3 at ripon off 78 in a race for horses rated upto 95 in june generally has been contesting slightly higher grade than this 0-80, hasn't really run too many bad races bar running over too far a trips, even last time out although only 10/20 that was in a hot race at york on good ground behind zabeel prince for horses rated upto 100.
Somehow tomorrow with the 7 pound claim he gets to run off lowest ever mark of 77 the 7 taken off down to 70.He has run here before over c/d 2nd last season on soft ground off 79 l so would have an ew chance if this 7fs isn't a negative,although he has had a long season reflected in what would be huge prices normally..Looks a cracking trade to me 33/1 in the right grade this could easily go off 16/1 even a lot shorter all depending hoe confident stable are as i'm sure they would see the prices as an insult if season hasn't caught him up..He is also an aw horse so could be trying to get marks down for coming season,although he does like desperaste ground so should suit tomorrow strange thing as entered at swell following day and declared to run.

Tonto's spirit looks as though his early seasons wins were as good as he is on the turf won at ayr off 54 over 1m5fs easily back in june was 3rd here off 60 on gd/fm in july a bit disapointing in a couple of runs since but a longer trip on softer ground may suit back on that last winning mark with seamus cronin riding.That could be a negative or positive as its his first ride back after 6 weeks off from injury with him claiming that 5 pound,a weaker race for tonto's spirit hopefully jock is fit enough to do it justice,could be ok for in running it maybe there's too much pace on if he trys to make all but the prices are big if back to best and should trade ok in running..
Our cilla loves desperate ground could be the one to take advantage as there does look quite a bit of pace in the race and she will be depending on that...

The last 4 seasons confessional has run in this race 2nd last year off 90 where again the high draws dominated,thats happened for the last three seasons on soft ground which it will be tomorrow,confessionals never been out of the first five.
Infact confessional could be at a big disadvantage tomorrow from the 1 draw but has been running consistently well all season last two runs contested 0-105 and 0-100 finishing 3rd and 4th and two other previous runs hampered when getting into races at chester.The 2nd in this last season was off 90 first three 5ls clear of the field but as mentioned they had those high draw advantages,tomorrow off 86 with 3 pound claim if the draw isn't a hindrance then no reason why shouldn't run well..
Wouldv'e preferred to back a couple of high draws the ground is now soft,it points to another race where they come stands side and if confessionals draw is compromised,i can see tylery wonder bringing them standside as loads of early pace and equimou,am going to go with a speculative bet in aleef.Last season was just behind confessional in 3rd in this race,is better off at the weights down to 85 and drawn 12 and will like the soft ground,the negative is horse has shown absolutely nothing this season has obviously had problems so relying on him coming back to form off a 5 pound lower mark.Edward greatrex only ride of the day a speculative bet but has everything in favour if recaptures form,although sure betting will reflect chances,think you'd want to see it nearer 10/1 to think that stable maybe have it right..

Magic moments looks mildly progressive wouldn't have said unlucky to win last time out but chased a horse called higher court that ran qwide and took magic moments with it costing it plenty of ground,beaten a couple of lengths so respectable run in what was slightly higher grade at least strictly onthe figures tomorrow 0-70 that race 0-75.Am not totally convinced this race is much weaker a few that could improve for the aw like johnstons love oasis if transfers turf form to aw is a few pounds well in and whitecrest although shouldn't really beat magical moments on that last run from the 2 draw if not hassled up front could run well and kachess well handicapped.They probably look the four most likely just based on recent form and draws.

Top offer looks like he's lost the plot early season was running in far better races than this i put him up a few times there were some eyecatching runs in far better races, a 3rd to fire diamond off 65 in january and previous decent runs season before always looked the type to outrun big prices.I gave up on him as was regressing,keeps coming dow in grade and although not running that badly nothing like the horse earlier in the year.Will have a speculative bet on him he drops to lifetime lowest mark of 55,never run in this grade before first time blinkers are on and franny norton booked as well,in recent runs a 2nd to mutineer over this c/d off 58 and although only 7th last time out that was a 0-65 tomorrow a 0-55,also times of last two races have been respectable for grade as well..Probably relying on blinkers to make him concentrate more as he should be running well in this grade..
There's a 14 race maiden in this race has very poor profile but was in the same race with top offer gog elles,travelled well but hampered at finish and still finished infront of top offer in that race strictly at weights top offer should reverse the form but as mentioned that race was a respectable time.Gog ells has shown very little bar that run and blinkers are on tomorrow for the 2nd time,the first time was last season when running over 1m2fs at lingfield running ok although only 4th of 6,one of its better runs and ben Curtis rides.Would be a surprise winner but could run well if reproducing that form,trainer has very few winner nowadays but last 2 runners have placed 25/1 would seem fair in a very poor race where virtually everything looks unreliable..

Sir lancelott and eium mac contested the race top offer ran in, a 0-65 time was ok and they finished 2nd and 5th you can't rely on these in this grade but as mentioned above that was a 0-65 this is 0-55 and the time was ok,sir lancelott has a very small pull in the weughts 2 pound for 1 1/2ls.Not drawn greatly would be negatives plus actually repeating the form,although repeats of that last run would have to go close in this terrible race..

More like it,crazy prices,best horse in the race beenh running well all season only ? was trip plyus when he was 2nd to finn cl;ass early in the season I put up at a huge price he was second the race was slow by 10 seconds so I knew that 7fs would turn into a virtual mile racem,todays race slow by 9.62 seconds at catterick that must be one of the slowest times ever run in that class of race over 7fs exactly like the thirsk race/.Beautiful when a plan comes together!;)
