Is mentioned in an article from the guardian about veteran races.

Another reason why veterans races should be confined to flat tracks and minor meetings; a chance for bread and butter fans to see their heroes without the chance of bad news stories.
Remember when Dorans Pride was killed at The Festival ? It leaves a bad bad taste and those looking for Veterans race at the Festival should think again methinks.
