NC did get up, Fist, but sadly he was badly injured.

Presumably Zabana was lost as well, I'm afraid to say. He got up and ran past the stands, but on only three legs.

Gutted about Nichols Canyon and Zabana, it can be a very tough game at times.

NC broke either elbow or shoulder on his fall (was it low sun ?) and Zabana looked like left stifle area problems.
Two lovely lovely horses I often praised on forum; will miss them both hugely.

Irish Cavalier who pulled up suddenly at Newton Abbot on Friday has fractured his back leg, but has had surgery and three screws in it and they are hopeful he will be OK.

Too right. Zabana was a lovely horse.

On a positive note, I reckon they have a good one in Paloma Blue. Was really taken by him the other day at Leopardstown (and the timefigure was very good as well). I've taken 33's for the Ballymore - fingers crossed.
