First season sires 2012.

Overall, are the new sires making much impression this year compared to others? The only one whose figures look genuinely impressive to me is New Approach.
 
I feel that there have been some disappointing crops.

I feel more was expected of Duke Of Marmalade and Henrythenavigator.

Sakhee's Secret has done OK but they don't look the highest class.

Think in fact Grey is probably right - you could argue that maybe the majority of this crop of first season sires would have been better suited to a better summer with universally better ground ?
