First Season Sires 2019

Wednesday
Dundalk so Suave (Make Believe) for Murtagh
Nottingham: Mishriff (Make Believe) for Gosden

Make Believe has done well with very little fuss. When he had his first winner people had already forgotten him (he was from Makfi's first crop and won the French 2000G). Covered 70 in 2018 and 75 in 2019. Will probably cover as many, if not more, next year.

NO NAY NEVER - Group winners

2018 - 2
2019 - 7

7 isn’t a bad figure but I’ll take a look over the next few days to see who is paying the €100,000 fee for this sire. Coolmore own him and are makers of sires, but you could take a view they are doing a bit of a ‘job’ on making this one.
The big hitters so far for the sire have been Ten Sovereigns and Arizona: both Coolmore. A successful non-Sadler’s Wells line sire is a necessity for Coolmore’s own-bred mares of that there's little doubt. The quality of those mares is unquestionable and it will be a great aid to establishing No Nay Never. If you haven't quite got that quality is No Nay Never your best option?

Night Of Thunder, the one on the table with the best strike rate, is by Dubawi out of a Galileo mare, the two best sires around. The breeding game is simple, isn't it?

Kingman goes up to £150,000.

Night of Thunder goes up to £25,000 from £15,000 (like the look of his Pocket Square).

Too Darn Hot starts at £50,000

Cable Bay up to £15,000.

NIGHT OF THUNDER's babies by going:

Heavy runs 9 wins 3 33.3% return% 155.6
Soft 16 - 2 - 12.5 - 108.6
Good to Soft 15 - 7 - 46.7 - 423.7 (2 x 25/1)
Good 28 - 5 - 17.9 - 133.9
Good to Firm 38 - 11 - 28.9 - 83.7
Firm - no runners

Decent returns on most goings. Almost always anomalies in the going stats due to small sample size.

according to arion pedigrees, night of thunder has never been level on wins with gutaifan this season GB wins only

current standings gutaifan 32 GB wins / cable bay 28 / night of thunder 27 / due diligence 26

as your table shows night of thunder was the most profitable and best overall , hopefully gutaifan still gets the FSS 2019 champion accolade

thanks colin and all contributors to the thread
