First Season Sires

Plenty of first season sire offspring in the Brocklesby Doncaster 3.40.

Dark Angel represented by Adranian

Amadeus Wolf - Jimmy The Lollipop

Misu Bond - Tyre Giant Dot Com

Windsor Knot - Beau Mistral

JACK WHO'S HE, JIMMY THE LOLLIPOP, TYRE GIANT DOT COM... bloody hell! The name game's gone a bit nutty, hasn't it?

I like witty names which help us recognise the sires - I remember Solerina being very taken by ALDERBEERGONE, for example, or at least names which aren't just advertising hoardings on four legs!

Having OCEANICO DOT COM here I can appreciate the benefit of witty, short names.... At least it made it easier calling her Annie...

Yes! Sean Boyce in the ATR booth admired plain CHARLES today, asking why horses couldn't just have nice, plain names, although he didn't think there were any called SEAN. I'd like to see SEAN SHEEP.

Folkestone 2.20 COCKNEY REBEL represented by FIRST REBELLION and QUEEN OF THE HOP.

Windsor 2.40

DARK ANGEL - SEA ODYSSEY

RED CLUBS - CIARA BOO

LAWMAN - SEVEN YEAR ITCH

All four runners in the Kempton 2.20 are by first season sires;

DARK ANGEL - SNOWED IN

THREE VALLEYS (good 2-y-o over sprint distances in America) - THAT'S DANGEROUS

MULTIPLEX (winner over 7 & 8 furlongs from 2-4 years in France) - MULTI BLESSING

AMADEUS WOLF - MRS. MOP

Someone who knows a good 2yo from a bad one suggested a stallion that stands for around 2k was good value and he has a nice 2yo by him. I'm almost certain it was Jeremy but my head is gone today. Does Jeremy stand for around 2k and has he thrown a winner yet?

Thanks. Pretty certain it's Jeremy. I'll be keeping an eye out for his first runners.

He's a good lookin fella and his dam his a half to monster Jap horse deep impact.
I don't think you get him for 2k though. 4k yes.

Getting to be too many runners to list.
