Well done lads, got a couple of new ones from Ascot. I `ll put them up for you lads to mark my card, they come from the Irish point scene

Delighted with that.
Chris Hayes said the ground was a little too quick for him on the far side so he was further back than he planned despite a good break but stayed on well up the straight.
So the old boy has more fire in him for the season ahead and weather forecast will suit him.
Good of Cork racecourse to lay on a special day in pavilion for Cork Flat Breeders and owners; lunch with wine and table service all day.
Hopefully it will be the first of many such days at the racecourse; new manager Andrew Hogan (son of trainer Tom) going places to promote a top class track in the style which it should have been since reopened in 1997. Lucky to have new Agriculture minister in neighbouring (my) constituency.

I see you've got a new entry next week Roddy. Good luck with him.

Oliver's Gold 4.35 Ripon - runs tomorrow looking for that elusive win on the flat. Will not like the soft in the ground but can go on it. It's a Ladies' Handicap over 1m4f and I do not know anything about the Jockey, Miss R McDonald so if anyone can enlighten me? It would be appreciated.
He wasn't well after his poor run over hurdles l/t/o and it was put down to his change of bedding and he had eaten some of it. That problem has been resolved and despite the ground he potentially remains very well handicapped on the flat.
