Rock star's son Otis Ferry spoke of his ''delight'' today after he was freed from custody.
The countryside campaigner was imprisoned four months ago over allegations he 'nobbled' a key witness during his trial for robbery and assault.
Ferry, 25, was arrested on September 17 on suspicion of perverting the course of justice after allegedly interfering with witness David Hodgkiss.
Today judge Martin Picton granted him conditional bail at Gloucester Crown Court saying he could be ''trusted'' to stay with his mum Lucy Birley in London.
Speaking outside court, Ferry admitted prison was a ''very strange experience'' and that he had missed his two pet hunting hounds.

Flanked by his mother and his girlfriend, Fran Nimmo, he said: "I'm delighted and relieved to be out at last - prison was a very strange experience.
"I've had a court case hanging over my head for more than a year now and I've still got to get it over and done with before I can relax and get back to my normal life.
"I can't wait to see the outside again but having said that it's very hard to say how I feel about the whole prison system."
He added: "I don't think anything about prison is positive but I've met a lot of people who have changed the way I look at things.
"I was looking forward to seeing my hunting hounds but I can't go back home so I'll make do with seeing the pet dogs. I've had them since I was a kid and they mean a lot to me."
Former model Lucy added: "Thank God he's out. Four months has been a very long time and his brothers and his dogs can't wait to see him again."
Judge Martin Picton granted conditional bail until a pre-trial hearing on March 9 for the perverting the course of justice charges.
Under his bail conditions Ferry must not make contact with prosecution witnesses, must stay at his mum's house, and must not leave the country.
He must also report to Kensington police station every Monday
