Grand National protests

Check out the Daily Mail headlines and video right now.

I can’t see it? This is the Mail that had the headline ‘We Saved the National’ the other day. Climate Change Protesters are now targeting the London Marathon. I’m a wokey protester but the most anti social thing I’ve ever done is stick stickers on things and I’d never attempt to stop anyone either going about their daily business or enjoying themselves. They’re actually turning me against their causes.

But if she’d left the race before the race started then she wouldn’t have been hit by the two stampeding stallions because they were loose thanks to the race that she is claiming she wanted to leave before to get treated for her injury?

Oh bless the DM - you really couldnt make this **** up

Oh it’s a literary masterpiece as always, Troods! And completely true...every bit.

And if you scroll down a little further there is the piece about the man who lives as a collie dog.....

I've a dog who brings me a glass of French red wine at 7Pm each night. I think he's a Bordeaux Collie.

What's really sickening about this, is these clowns aren't proper activists and were only out to get publicity.......Sandy Thomson blames them without a doubt for so many horses falling at the first which is unusual
and for the loss of Hill Sixteen.

They held the race up and a ladder was involved in one incident. Holding horses up when they are ready to run will cause them to be hyped up. Last thing you need in a National, or any jumps race come to that. They are idiots and dangerous ones in the context of winding up racehorses before a race. It won't be the last we see of this crap either.

Just caught Nicky Campbell on BBC news channel doing his level best to sensationalise an already emotive issue, and the upshot was we could end up with running the race over plastic hurdles.
Kevin Blake put up a stout defence though, and dropped a double six when asking what the protesters what they'd do with 50,000 thorouhbreds.

I listened to that and they couldnt answer Kevins question and kept trying to change it but he kept saying " you havent answered the question"

This is the kind of **** the racing world is having to deal with - I only saw this this morning. You can’t educate pork.

Apparently according to that paragon of truth, the Daily Mail, they are planning to send over 1,000 protesters to disrupt the Derby...let’s hope the police allow the racegoers to join in again with security measures.
