Hendersons are very sweet on Oedipe
I will give more details;

The yard always rated him highly and he came over expected to build into a useful 2m 5f - 3m chaser.

Having won like a seriously well handicapped horse on King George day he was given time off to strengthen up and considering connections feel he is well handicapped they decided to save his mark of 137 for this season.

I'm told he could reappear in the Paddy Power with the Hennessy on the agenda.

The yard rate him highly and apparently he is a much stronger horse this season.

Only 6 months later than expected, Gold Cup winner next season :)

Very good call there Chris; I was windy and only did him for the place
But I was very sweet on him at the start of the season - in fact I think today's results might have put me fairly well up the list in the Club comp as iirc I have both Oedipe and Gwanako in my list :)

Henderson is great at bringing them back from injury, no trainer better imo
It helps having both the Equine Hospital and horse leeches O'Gorman, Slater Main within a few miles of the yard!
