Irish Racing Thread

Barry Connell beginning to back track on his "we will run on any ground" or whatever. But yeah its actually a very open race without Marine Nationale.

Solness wants it drier and Majborough still jumps like a pool table. I think I would have to side with Energumene / Found A Fifty

Romeo Coolio confirmed for the Irish Arkle. Does that mean Elliot knows Kopek isn't going/isn't going to run well? He previously said he was going to leave the decision late, and hinted that it was going to be based on the opposition

I think the mood had changed on him running in last week if you saw any of the video tours

With soft ground, they are happy to run him over the minumum

I don't really look at anything until the 48hrs decs come out, so dunno which if any races I'm betting on in the Leopardstown DRF but as it's quality racing both days I'd be surprised if I don't.
Anyway I have all the Leopardstown races Sat/Sun in my set up where the teleprinter outputs a cold emotionless accurate view of which horses have come from which races, where they placed in those races and historically how it's panned out when horses have come from such and such race to run in whatever race in the DRF.

Well I've had an early peek at the Irish Gold Cup, see attached, and even though the Savills has been the biggest source of runners in the past you still get a lot coming from the previous years Irish Gold Cup.

Have a chew on the figures if it so pleases you to do so alongside whatever analysis you do
