Thinking of it now how can they send Kopek Des Bordes to the Arkle? He hasn't run since November and he beat absolutely nothing. Maybe the most overhyped horse in a while.

A strong drift on Mullins newcomer Charme De Faust at the 2.25 in Thurles. Was in at 1.6 on the exchange this morning now nearly out to 2.1.

Edit: Ricci was correct to praise her. Looks quite a nice prospect for future.

El Cairos is some legend of a horse

In a short history he has won a point and given us some moments on the racetrack
He's certainly got gears and in that ground too is impressive. I would worry about those mistakes he makes especially up in grade but there is no doubting his talent.

Rarer than Hens teeth but i think I might be having a bet in an Irish handicap on Saturday may the lord take mercy on my soul.

Hadn't realised it was priced up already 50/1 with Paddy power and Skybet which is no good to me but 40/1 elsewhere to six places Minella Sixo is worth a rattle. Will try and put some reasoning up in a bit.

2.25 Leop Minella Sixo 50/1 paddy power and skybet 40/1 elsewhere.

It's run first time out takes some forgiving as does his beginner chase defeat at Galway back in August. Hoping that first time out was just blowing the cobwebs off. That was only its 8th start over hurdles its won 2 of them and has a couple of other bits and bobs which make its mark of 130 look workable. A couple of length defeat to Potters cross at Cheltenham last November. A 3 mile hurdle at Limerick trying to give weight to Big westerner and Mozzies sister also having Fleur in the park in behind that day. Then was still in contention when falling in a Haydock pertemps qualifier which produced the winner of the Pertemps itself running off 7lb higher than it will be on Saturday. First time headgear applied the weekend. If that first run of the season was no more than just a run round or if the headgear revitalises him to anywhere near any of those 3 runs then he makes his price tag look like a complete joke.

Up in grade he won't have a class edge and esp against an OPS won't be taking the lead until after the last flight has been cleared.

I missed the maiden that Charme de Faust won - were you impressed? Said it was 8 seconds faster than El Cairos. She's now 14-1 for the Triumph.
