Jimmy Saville

Poor Clive Dunn.

In all likelihood a virtuous man, and once-beloved to all of a certain age.

And his epitaph?

"Wonder what he was up to back in the day?"

Shame on you, Savile. Another item to add to your heinous list of crimes.

I, for one, will drink a toast this evening to the memory of Clive Dunn, in the sincere hope that he was nothing more than a loveable bumbler.

Kampai.

I thought it was just me..when i watched the news it showed him singing Grandad..with young girls sat round. All that came to mind was ..well known BBC personality..young children.

its horrible to be thinking like that...felt bad for thinking it

RIP Clive

Off the hook apparently Mr Messham got an 8 horse accumalator up today and all is well!!!

i wonder what brought about this absolutely mind boggling.. change of mind????

How many years has he had to see photos of alleged attacker??

its odd how those naming lesser lights never seem to have this memory loss/ confusion about identity;)

i wonder what happened to the other person

i can't really believe what i'm watching on the BBC..they have apologised to a person they never named..and so has the person who was abused..neither party have ever named him..so wtf are they apologising for???

there is more than Mcalpine listed on the net and also been named on twitter..so why haven't they apologised to them as well?

why didn't Mcalpine sue David Icke over accusations he made in his book years ago..but suggests he may sue over this..where he has never been named by either party?

entwhistle looks a useless tool to me without all this..but for him to step down over this is nonsense

i wonder how many people will come forward to report abusers now

Apparently,Coolmore have an unraced 2 year old called Jimmy Saville they expect to unleash next season !

They are keeping him far away from the fillies in the yard, however !

From david ickes site.

So why wasn't the Conservative Party treasurer in the Thatcher era equally 'horrendously shocked', and why didn't he therefore sue, when similar allegations involving North Wales children's homes were published by Scallywag magazine in the 1990s and he was the subject of a banner headline to that effect - and more?

I don't understand. The Scallywag article could not have been more explicit. And why does he say that it was an 'horrendous shock' to hear these allegations when similar ones have been published before and he did NOTHING?

McAlpine was an extremely rich man and in the 1990s he was an even more prominent public figure. He could have put Scallywag out of business if he had showed in court that its allegations were not true and this would have nailed the allegations for good and stopped them circulating on the Internet ever since (without a single challenge from 'me Lord'). The same with Margaret Thatcher aide and speechwriter, Derek 'me' Laud.

McAlpine says he is seeking damages from all and bloody sundry now and yet did nothing when the same allegations were made by Scallywag all those years ago. So please, Lord McAlpine, credibly explain why you didn't.

In the light of this, I trust the currently trembling jelly fish of the chattering classes are going to grow a backbone?

Click here for the Scallywag article ...

If you come in this direction demanding money, guest house owner, you can shove it, McAlpine.

I'll see you in court first. Laud and many others in the Thatcher years can clear their diary.

P.S. By the way, you have said that you only visited Wrexham once in your 70 years and never stayed overnight - but how many times have you visited Chester 13 miles away? Could you clarify that, Lord McAlpine, just out of interest?

Thank you.

Toodle-pip:lol:Superb!!!
