3 winners Tonight Tan one for his dad.

Apparenlly, he was leading pony club rider before he switched to horses - from a recent interview with his father on ATR.

I saw that interview too Reet, his Dad was so proud, was it his first win when they interviewed Dad?. I watched one of his wins the other night, he has a clock in his head. He is very very good.

He’s a very bright guy who comes across well when interviewed. His father did not take to being a tv pundit but he’s far more articulate and could be a plus......couldn’t be worse than AP!

Huge loss too the game I always felt confident when he was on one I was........top class jockey and a great judge of pace no matter what some of his not so ardent fans on here have said in the past.

Always liked him, I agree he'll be a big loss. Wishing him all the best for whatever he decides to do.

Hope the wind blows the right way for Dave Noonan now.
Best regards to Tom, being a third generation jockey was never going to be easy but he grew into the role/ his grandfather won a Welsh National on Creolla, the first horse my uncle Eddie bought .

Nice win at Thurles today by Alex Burke -Ott, a local lad.
His grand father Jorg rode with the West German equestrian team before settling near Banteer, Co Cork.
His father was paralysed in a fall off a young horse about ten years ago , but was a top class rider and breaker ,. his mother ran a riding school.
Andrew has plenty of pluck and is absolutely fearless, anyone wanting a 7 lb claiming amateur could do a lot worse than book him.

Poor guy. Didn’t he miss it with a broken leg a couple of years ago too?
