King George VI Chase 2014

I have a big bet on Champagne Fever and a medium one on Cue Card.

EC, if you can't say something nice and accept when people disagree with your views, best say nothing, you come across as a brat. I don't want a reply or dialogue with you, but just let it go, you're ruining the thread.

he didn't disagree with me though..do you not read well?..he spouted nonsense..totally different game to disagreeing..maybe you didn't spot that...if i spout nonsense..i get told..and would expect to..thats how it works

best bet really..is don't blather on about a subject if you know virtually nil about it..its always worked for me..but if did stray in an area of ignorance..i'd fully expect to answer for said ignorance

if you don't want dialogue with me..best thing is not to post messages at me really don't you think?

Look at your recent replies to people, such as Tanluc - you're a big baby if people don't agree with you!

Yes but don't expect soft ground. I'm tempted but 7/1 cue card makes more sense to me. I'm not always sure to make of tizzard but they are clearly very positive. I can't have cf at all but was very impressed with al ferof at ascot. He just bounced round but still a feeling that he's best at that sort of distance. Menorah has out in three really good races on the trot now. Still worried he will clout one but way the stable has been going, you can't rule him out at all.

You're underestimating the potential of CF..

Agree on Cue Card. I find is strange people write off Cue Card's stamina but you read little of Al Ferof's who seemed to stay an awful lot worse.

you don't read well at all do you?..the content i picked out wasn't disagreeing..it was uninformed nonsense..you seem to be struggling with that...you need to tell the difference between two people talking about something they both know about and disagree over..and then the other instance is where someone blindly wants to pooh pooh something and quotes complete drivel..i don't talk about horse confirmation for instance..because i know nothing about it..so if a thread appeared on here and i showed that i knew nothing about it but kept saying its irrelevant..that would be posting drivel born of ignorance on my behalf..and would expect to be told so

you really need to start recognising these two situations before you come on here with your daft "baby" insults

i'll chew cud with anyone ..if i know something..and they show they know something too...thats when you disagree..when you both know wtf you are talking about

you have very little ever positive to say to me on here..rarely chat..so the fact you go out of your way to just post as you have tells me a lot about you

best wishes from the child/brat..any other names you want to add?..and yet its me that is rude apparently..really?

Names are to describe your behaviour; see your last post to Tanlic.

Not interested in continuing thisfurther...

champagne plodder certainly has gone sixes. And at more than one place too. It's the old trouble with these drifts isn't it? Price may look good (not to me in this instance) but you also have to ask why?

Price drifts in grade 1s aren't as significant as lower grade action though I reckon
I have availed myself of the 6s in hills this morning, Nothing too big though I try not to let money curtail my enjoyment of what will be a cracking day.

you shouldn't have started it then

Tanlic will read that and tell me to b0llox.. but will probably admit its not his area..fair enough..its got bugger all to do with you..so don't use it as an opportunity to have a pop at me..you've got bugger all decent to say to me most of the year..so don't bother with the negative stuff now

back to thread anyway..

i personally don't give a stuff what wins it

Al Ferof gets my vote.

Has to prove he gets the trip. Hopefully with the problems behind him he will get the chance to show it.

Conti does look solid with questions on many of them. Fully understandable he will have his backers.

I backed Fever a coup,e of weeks back, though the market has hardly been enthusiastic about his chances the last week. All things considered, there appears to be no reason at all why Conti cannot repeat....though I've had to have a cover bet on Cur Card, just in case..........because - and I don't care where you're located - you would all be able to hear the sound of my puking, if he won unbacked.

ground may not be slow enough for SC..will now depend on how hard they go

be interesting to see if wonderful is there to make a pace

Great ride, made it all about the stamina, all he had to do was jump well and did it easily. What the hell happened him in the Gold Cup?
Ryanair will be some race now, pretty much everything in behind will head there you would feel.

Great race.
Ride of the season so far by Noel Fehily there. An under rated jock for years.
Tom Hogan said as much when he won County Hurdle back in 2008
No excuses for those behind bar lack of stamina. All decent horses with little between them.

Much as I am in awe of PN as a trainer I always delight in seeing a jockey that he has discarded [often through injury] do well; especially when the horses owner has remained loyal to the jockey. A superb performance by horse and rider today.

It was a pleasure to be there. One of the best KGv performances for me. Great ride and well executed plan.
