yes... I was using tow to mean haul/pull, but used with "party line" you are no doubt right as its probably derived from the sword lines in parliament that shouldn't be crossed, similar to walk the line I suppose. So perhaps I'll amend to: not snitching on your lords and masters.

That is just not what you want to see - tragic for such a talented horse as Rewilding . Brilliant ride by Buick a super horse too , awful ride by O Brien but what were they doing putting the kid on and what is going on in Workforce's head .

Stop being opportunistic - the horse just wasn't good enough and needed a much stronger pace.
 
Awful to see but the ground has been described as beautiful the last couple of days .

Nathaniel must not be underrated - he was messed around by Ajtebi riding like the complete and utter buffoon he is and he quickened really well and Buick rode a great race .

Workforce looked the winner but perhaps the track does not suit him and he ran so wide in the straight .

SNA - frankly he was outpaced as expected but JPOB gave him a moderate ride - there was no way he was ever going to outpace Workforce and Nathaniel .

Very grim though with Rewilding's loss so very sad .

Ajtebi is a complete arse.

I thought o Brien was poor.Was Buick really brilliant-if Workforce kept straight would we be saying Buick should have taken it up earlier.Queally on Twice Over was that a good ride -holding the horse up off a slow pace.Is a winning ride always a good ride?
 
SNA is an Ormonde winner - he won the Coronation Cup due to Queally's error - SNA should probably have gone on once Ajtebi started his antics.

Nathaniel is a Chester Vase runner up-he would be far from certain to confirm form with SNA in the Arc.

Agreed. Nice of Buick to offer his condolences before talking about his own win too. Was just thinking before the race, as SNA was going round the paddock, how delicate they are really and then that happens. As Gosden said it can happen in the field but still distressing.

Buick spoke well also. A real shame and an awful atmosphere afterwards. It was genuinely shocking when it happened.
 
So very sad to see the demise of Rewilding - John Gosden magnificent in victory - what was the jockey playing at on Debussy? Workforce does not handle Ascot. Willie Carson how much longer will we have put up with this ***** on telly. Well done Nathaniel but he wont handle the turns at Longchamp.
