Three winners at Goodwood for chroniclanlord, including the nap on Wentworth, after fretting yesterday that he was the only one on the team in minus territory.
 
del boy's run is over but chronic landlord naps it for Ireland and both simmo and Old Vic nap it for Scotland.

According to another witness, Mr Barry McGuigan, also of Clones, "It might have ended there. But don't ask me how, next thing he had a feather duster protruding from his you know where and singing Shake A Tail Feather Baby. I could well understand the choice of song but I could not forgive his dreadful singing, way worse than anything my father could ever inflict, so my only choice was to call the guards."

"It might have ended there", said Garda Patrick Brady, "but when asked for an explanation the man kept insisting to us that he 'done it for Ireland, at the League of Nations'. We felt obliged to arrest the man at this point. His contact with reality is obviously very tenuous, possibly because of some substance he might have taken. We are keeping him under close observation but he is very agitated and demanding to be released in order to attend the League of Nations again today and tomorrow".

Thanks, though we need 1 or 2 more like that to get competitive I think!

Would've been a decent race for the Placepot too, had my perm (which included Forgotten Voice, Montiridge, Wentworth, Flying Bear & Annecdote) not gone horribly wrong in the 3.40!

You mean you've been trying to post all day on the Final Furlong Forum but, as it's down, have managed to post on here instead.... :)
 
Still can't access FF so no real update other than Roddy napped the 4-1 winner in the last at Goodwood for Wales
 
Managed to catch FF back up so can now report exiled yorkie still leads the Goodwood comp going in to the last day with +£28.91

In second place is Latefortheraces +£27.50

In third place is del boy +£16.83


The Irish have increased their lead to over £70 but the seven races at Galway this evening gives the others a chance to eat into that lead before the final day tomorrow.

Getting a tiny bit p*ssed off with FF which is now down again

Apologies to my Scotland team-mates. I got side-tracked (looking after my infirm, elderly mother-in-law at the moment) and forgot all about Galway.

I'm having my worst major festival meeting for many years. Toronado has been my only winner. Even today I was shouting home Wentworth only to discover later I'd forgotten to back it.

Goodwood is normally a very happy hunting ground for me. Not this year.

Right a few of you had a non runner in the 7.55 tonight so just to explain that your bet reverted to the favourite and the winner at 5 - 1 was a joint favourite so your return is £2.50 or £5 if it was a nap.
