when i did figures for this at xmas i had to triple check them as i couldn't believe them..i'll be very disappointed if he isn't up to Our Conor level. The race itself has been a little goldmine as posted on the Juvenile Hurdlers thread.

i'd put a mark of 155/157 on Ivan based on that run..which would win most triumph hurdles comfy. Our Conor was given 161 after winning it..but he didn't put a figure as big as Ivan has done FTO or 2nd run ..he put a large figure in in the Spring Hurdle itself

Question is, at 11/4 or 5/2 now, do you take it or wait for the day? Can't be that much shorter on the morning of the race.

its 8/13 for saturday so if it scarpes home..unlikely..will drift..if it romps home will shorten...even though those odds say he should win by 3 or 4..they will still shorten it

Up to press none of those nearest him in the betting will hold a candle in TH..obviously Lets Dance isn't i million off him..and if he improves more is dangerous..i'd be surprised if he improves more than Ivan really..he is only clear danger. Obviously between now and the day summat could turn up..but it will have to be exceptional imo.

I'd make him a banker for the festival..but i've been egg faced before with juveniles.

Let's Dance is a she EC and a for me it's a pointer to just how high connections regard for Limini is that they're avoiding her and not planning on running Let's Dance in the new mares novice hurdle where she wouldn't be carrying a winners penalty and would be receiving a 4yo old's allowance.

By running in different races they're obviously increasing their chances of taking home even more prizes so they either think they have a chance of reversing the form on Saturday and in the Triumph but realise that another gallant second - thus still avoiding the winners penalty - would give them two very strong hands in the mares novice, therefore making her a cracking e/w bet against Limini.

I had a healthy bet on Gorby at 3/1 so I am already a bit ahead of the game.

His main rival Nicky's Fixe le cap has done nothing wrong and is a very good jumper
but it's very much down to where he can cope with faster ground as he looks really at home on heavy and soft ground.

Fixe Le Kap is around 12/1 so if Gorby pisses up at the weekend the bookies wont think twice he'll be evens or less.
as the opposition looks decidedly weak on paper for the Triumph.
