Given my truly appalling tipping abilities, I was going to start a thread called Lets turn €1000 into €50 before end of October, on the basis that I'd be good at that.
The rule would be the selection (only in horse races) would have to be in the first 5 in the SP market and the maximum bet would be 5% of the bank.
Thus ensuring you can't just p*ss it all away on a 33/1 shot - or, in my case, on a 4/1 shot.
I'd probably be good at this, given that I'd choose what I considered true winners ... and I have known form to prove it!

However, I'll be in an internet-free zone next week, so I'll leave it to OTB, Melendez, Del Boy and others to give it a go! :whistle:

Fishforcompliments is a dog: often runs eyecatching races at places like Ascot, cf Ladies Race on King George day last two seasons, and often starts well fancied but impossible to win with - 2 wins and 15 places in 50 odd starts. Wouldn't go near with a ten foot pole.

I'm not a superstitious person but I never bet the sum of €50 win on anything. I either have €45/€55 win. I've just never found anything that I wanted a €50 bet on. Therefore I'm playing in sterling which is a starting bank of 57.82 in €uro and will require me to reach €1.152.40 to complete the clallenge.
