Actually, I'm reminded of an Edmund Burke quote a little bit, and in truth the likes of Grey and Maruco are right on this one and stand out for their consistency and decency in trying to bring some measure to this. I think perhaps many of us should have spoken up more vocally and more frequently, but equally there's a bit of me that says what's the point. Personally, I passed the point of thinking TH was beyond redemption years ago, but accept that makes me guilty of apathy too.

The shame is with Grey & Maruco for continually turning a blind eye to your antics, and blaming others when you continually spit the dummy (like your personal attacks on at least 6 different posters in the last month alone).
The rest of the above crap speaks for itself.
 
I haven't seen anything that was clearly designed to drive him off the forum. Would also say that this forum has been notoriously cliquey in the past but is far less so these days. Sorry ec but I think you need to reassess that.

EC1, I hope you realise that I usually defend you on here but I have to tell you as a friend that I'm concerned about your posts here today, to the extent I'm wondering if someone has hacked your account and is maliciously trying to stir things up.

If it is you, I hope you reconsider your posts and think about modifying them. They serve no purpose. The ones you're hitting out at already know pretty much your feelings towards them and one or two might even feel they've got one over on you by provoking this reaction. The rest of us, especially those with an interest in the AW (not me, as you know), genuinely value your input. It would be a real shame if your posts descended to a level that clearly doesn't reflect your true self.

Please have a wee think about it and come back with a renewed focus.

I think this beef is about misjudged perceptions rather than reality.

Get this all in perspective everybody, theres people dying all over the friggin world while you lot go ape **** over time anaylsis!

I read some of the Champion Hurdle debate, and whilst the following admittedly shows my level of knowledge and understanding of horse racing, I'd rather wank myself into a coma until next Christmas than read anymore of it (I was bored shitless....)

Let's all just have a group hug and move on. EC, the links to wiki etc were out of order, no question. But you need to rise above it mate - descending to the same level isn't the answer.

Why not start your own thread, then those of us who are interested and respect your views (and there are many of us) can read it, and Reet, Tanlic et al can ignore it. Everyone's happy.

I don't like having to do this, because I think we are all adults on here and should be able discuss things without them turning out like this, but any further threads get took off topic with this argument, I'll suspend anyone involved for a week, same goes for name calling etc.

Use the ignore feature if certain members posts annoy you that much.

I'm actually going to leave this open as otherwise I know it will still get continued elsewhere, but keep things civil or don't post.

CH is a bit boring mate as it looks like a bit of a foregone conclusion this year and it could get worse before it gets better but it's not the only race we willbe discussing in the coming weeks

Never a great time of the year.......lull before the storm but as it gets closer things will take off big time

You would be a huge loss to the forum mate....you underestimate your contribution. In all the years I have posted on racing forums I have never known you to be abusive towards anyone.

Sometimes forums need a calming influence and posters like yourself provide that.....If you want a little rest why don't you change your ways for once call me a wanker and get put in the ice box for a week:lol:
