Lincoln Handicap 1/04/2023

Rhoscolyn is my horse to follow for the season.dropped 2lb for its reappearance and if it gets beat and dropped again it's going to be a seriously well hcapped horse.
Baradar and his stablemate Totally charming (Billy Lochnane) both look good.
The draw is getting to me though.does it matter? High numbers have won the last ten.but only 2 on soft going.
Darkness is drawn 3 but on last years race he is well in along with AAgent.
I agree about Admiral D needing 7f as well.
I like reading the trends and one interesting one was c/d winners dont win this.
I took 80 on Orbaan win just in case has he has a 5lb claimer on.

After looking at the trends I've added TYLOS 25/1

Incidentally the one site puts up
Admiral D and Biggles.

Good luck.

Heinous tactics on Baradar who was slow out the gate, pulled to go standside and then came back to the middle. If they'd kept to the draw he'd have won. Ungodly well handicapped.

I know it sounds mad but it was only 50 grand today and there are plenty of races worth more.
Royal Ascot Buckingham Palace could be on the agenda.
I always look at it as only lending the bookie your money, sometimes they keep it though.

I took Saga at 25/1 back in early February. I think it might be 33s now. :(

Nice form boost today from King of Conquest and given the King owns the horse would think the Hunt Cup must be the target. 14s tempting. 106 is a bit eye watering but it's a good race for 100+ candidates.

I'll need to trawl through my accounts. I was sure I'd taken Saga for the Hunt Cup on the morning of its recent race but it isn't in my log (happens sometimes when I'm busy). It will almost certainly be a bet for me (if it isn't already).

The other race I thought it might be targeting is the Magnet Cup. I can see it staying the trip.

Saga and Astro King are the one's that have caught my eye for the Hunt Cup.

I can see myself backing them both.

Big price today because of the ground. I have to say after Jimi Hendrix went in yesterday I am looking for an excuse to back him. The only angle I can come up with is the half brother Roseman, who was also a slop monster, was a good second to King of Comedy in a well above average renewal of the Heron on good to firm.
