First view as we went in of the famous old grandstand
And from up there on the roof a view of the parade ring, with the runners , unlike most other courses, being paraded anti-clockwise
And looking down the course
Winner of the first, Pepperoni Pete, eventually claimed by Mr M Harris, in the parade ring
And leading over the last
There was a shock winner of the second, Orrezzo at 25-1, ridden by Mr B J Toomey (7)
Leading over the last
And racing for the line
Distiller (Nigel Twiston Davies) being prepared for the third
A race in which the Elite Racing Club had a runner, Atomic Winner, except he wasn’t if you see what I mean
