Novice Chasers 2015/16

I reckon BH goes for the rsa. Roi des franc is an intended runner in the 4 miler. Think the running plans of these two are linked. Pp have pushed both out to 12s and 14s for the respective races after Willie's comments today. Looks like Ew double matierial.

L'ami Serge confirmed for JLT. Strange move on the face of it but I can see the logic. He has little chance in the Arkle so why not go double handed in the longer race. Managed to snaffle some 20s off of slow reacting bookies.

It's an interesting move alright. I'd be worried about his ability to settle over the longer trip though.

On another note, it's amazing Minella Rocco has still ended up fav for a race at the festival considering the season he's had. It strikes me as an awful lot of messing around for nothing if they've been holding back his ability. He's 5/1 in a level weights race which takes home 30k less than if he'd won his contests this season.

I have an antepost bet on him for it at 16s (i think) but had virtually resigned that as lost. Firstly because I was sure he was Arkle bound & secondly because of the last run!!

Not sure what to do now. Like Garde la Victoire in it too.

sizing john still 12s 3 places a quarter or 14s a fifth in places. easily the best e/w bet you can have now on the festival. there'll be about 5 or 6 runners.

7/2 w/o the fav decent too.

The Arkle looks like Douvan, Vaniteux, Sizing John, Fox Norton, some rags.

Incredible how slow some books are in reacting. When rumours started about SJ heading for the shorter race he was 10s in the market w/o Douvan.

Ya GLV for JLT. He's the other one I like in it. Backed Lami Serge at 16s before his debut win this year but off last run that looks dodgy.

L'ami Serge deserves another chance whatever he goes for. Yes, his last run was poor but we're talking about a horse who made Killultagh Vic look ordinary.
 
I'm thinking Zabana at the moment...Bristol is a lovely horse but they have surely ran it to death already.
