Novice Hurdlers 21/22

""Leading First Season Flat Sire 2022 (Settled On No.Winners) - Cheltenham Festival Non Runner Money Back Market""

This is what you get if you put one of the horses in the special in your betslip. Been on chat with a Powers lass and she doesn't understand it either.

I certainly wouldn't be rushing to back Walking on Air against either of the Mullins pair. I think Nicky was being coy when asked about the horse and has several with better prospects than him.

Blazing Khal has had a setback and will miss the Dublin Racing Festival and Cheltenham. They hope to have him back in time for Punchestown.

That's a real shame. Charles was very very sweet on the horse. The race is indeed wide open now and will be a right good betting heat on the day.

Nickys confirmed Constitution Hill will go to the Supreme.

I suppose that suggests he thinks an awful lot of Dysart Dynamo and wants to take him on with both barrels.

All down to Frank Berry, JP and what happens on Sauturday now.

If all 3 go this might end up being the the most exciting Supreme since the ill fated Golden Cygnet won it
and clocked a faster time than Monksfield followed by Sea Pigeon and Night Nurse clocked in the Champion Hurdle.

A bit workmanlike from Jonbon there but got the job done OK

Probably a better race than it looked beforehand but didn't strike me as a Festival G1 winner.

Still, you get some dodgy results at Haydock, especially in very soft ground.

I don't know about anyone else but I was never happy with the way Jonbon was traveling at any stage

Wouldn't be the first time Nicky has sent a good horse racing 90% fit on his way to the festival.

Anyway job done and we can all relax and hope they both make it along with DD on the big day.

Whether he was fully fit today we don’t know yet but one thing that Jonbon has impressed me with today is he can come off the bridle and then go and put a race to bed. Maybe Constitution Hill and Dysart Dynamo may never need to come off the bridle to win and are freaks but no worries about Jonbon in that department. Majorly exciting race ahead just pray they all make it to the festival.

Aye, not a scintillating run, but decent enough. I didn’t see the preamble, was he well-behaved?
