Paddy Power Gold Cup

I cant see Champion Court out of the places. Likely to run into 1 or 2 better handicapped horses though. I'll be having a good place bet on CC.

It will be five places on the day. Much better value.

Doesn't Hidden Cyclone need plenty of cut in the ground? He won't be getting that this weekend

I make no attempt to justify my wager, other than to state that I'm stretching the form arguments to a point where they are almost certain to twang straight back into my eyeball.

Regardless....Tally-fu*cking-Ho, I say.

One can see why they are tempted with Finian's rainbow off 163 if the wind op has done the trick .

I'm keen on Colour Squadron out of the young and unexposed lot, but having looked again I reckon if Wishful Thinking could find his best form he'd be bang there with a good chance. He did not run to his best when favourite for this race in 2011, and having run a good second in the Jewson, then winning at Aintree and Punchestown beforehand, probably just over-cooked him. 25/1 a huge price were he to run coming into the race a fresh horse.

in a departure from normal SWC is going to wear a lyrca outfit rather than traditional silks on rahjani express as he believes it will be more aerodynamic than silks blowing around in the wind. A view backed up by a sports specialist from Warwick university

If they were so into marginal gains, you'd think they'd hire a better jockey.
