Best of the day was New Approach, whose Strong Bet was Snake Eyes at 9/2. It was also a good day for An Capall, who had Snake Eyes in a treble with Faugheen and Nichols Canyon. He moves back into the lead and might yet get to keep his wife.

Icebreaker had three winners, Faugheen, Nichols Canyon and On The Fringe* but the odds were so mean that his profit for the day was less than one point. Roddy Owen had the same three winners but ended up losing on the day, which is why I had to double check the scores :p. It goes to show backing long odds on shots, even in multiple bets, is not rewarding.
