Smuggest Person in Britain Poll

If Fame And Glory wins at Leopardstown will SteveM be eligible for entry?:D

By all accounts if Fame and Glory wins at Leopardstown Steve M will no longer be resident in Britain but will have his own island in the Carribbean!

Warbler got it.. :) Anyway

Smuggest people? That couple on the BT ads. New baby new job blah blah. Cnts. No story lines about calls to Indian Call centres where they dont undertsnad a fcking word or calls to the hospital because Grannys colostomy bag has burst

LOL...bet he still doesnt get it though

Should this thread digress onto the advantages or a small or big mouth?

Big teeth has always been my concern. Esther Rantzen?

I know! This is one of those games where you change a letter to create a new word. It's gone from s-m-u-g to s-m-u-t quite effortlessly!

Thank you, thank you! Too kind!

Actually, today I am the smuggest person in Britain and quite possibly all Europe and a hefty chunk of Asia, too. I've been going through the annual spasm of thinking "too much stuff again" and gradually stacking up bits and bobs of things I can't or won't use, with the idea of carbooting them. Got about six boxloads of it together and then realised that I'd be lumbered with it for all time if I didn't move it soon, as the flats' lift is to be repaired or replaced in five days' time, and will be out of action for three weeks. Now, I know I must get fit, but the prospect of hauling that lot down two flights and some back up if I didn't sell it, was enough to get me wheezing, just thinking about it.

So, off yesterday morning to a huge field near to Hickstead Jumping Ground, £9 to sell, and repeating the dose today, too, a net profit of £196 for 7 hours' 'work', and very much dejunked! I'm delighted to be shot of old stuff and what was really nice is that I've made a new acquaintance, who's going to treat her ancient Mama to her 90th birthday at Lingfield in October. The course owes me for this, because she'll be bringing a large, family party! Everyone was so friendly and pleasant, it's been a super two days.

Then smugly finished off the smugness with a lovely lunch at my favourite disco, enjoyed a bit of craic with the reggae band who came in after their set and bought them a round, then tootled home in brilliant sunshine, totally smugged-out.

Howzat?
