It's the older races that I'm looking for. I know The Jockey Club website holds a lot of the replays but I did prefer the Sporting Life website. Thank God someone has found the old website.
 
The new RP site is a dogs dinner. Sporting life is free but the old site was average anyway, mostly because the best data and insight was on the RP, however they've clearly taken their content, loaded an internet based catapult and fired the info at the screen hoping it sticks. Its terrible.
 
Yeah I do find 365 annoying in that it's just a small window. Don't know if increasing zoom in browser would affect quality of picture. I only heard about this the other week but seems to update quickly after racing

By the way, the SL website is showing Ex Patriot as the winner of the Fairyhouse opener. Now that is unforgivable.

It's just been fixed, 45 minutes after the race. Still unforgivable.

Yes but now you have to log into the actual website, which was never a requirement before. Why they went live before it was all set beggars belief. They never answer emails any more either. Some of their breeding section is badly lacking full details for mares' progeny etc.

We have made note of all the comments made and appreciate a number of features from the previous site are not currently on the new version.
However, we are working on adding a number of features as soon as possible – including horse racing profile search, football league tables and various data-driven sections across a multitude of sports.
Other features have moved or been reformatted and we are confident that in time these will become as familiar to our users as the previous versions had been.

I wish!!! I read what DG just posted when it was first put up because I took the time to look and find out what the score was.

I can tell by what has been posted the biggest majority never bothered their ass, just head down like a bull in a china shop

No clue about how difficult these things can be, nor that they don't take 5 minutes and obviously don't give 2 hoots...just moaning for the sake of it
 
Imo, it's a question of whether you prefer be helped across the road, or mugged down an alley.
We're blessed with free sites such as the SL and ATR who appear content to survive on advertising/betting revenue, whereas such as the RP and RUK would not only empty your wallet, but probably rape you in the process.
Clicked on an ordinary news report on RP this morning, only to be advised I couldn't view it unless I upgraded my membership.

Reet, I can remember us complaining about the RP website a dozen years ago on TRF. At least they're consistent! :lol:

Jesus Tanlic....some of us work in IT and know exctly how complicated changes like this can be. But this site has obviously never been properly unit tested, hasn't been user tested, and has been designed so its optimised for Mobile content. RP did the same and they have both ruined their desktop web presence. I'd be expecting the sack if i launched that to the public.

I don't know if this has been mentioned previously but there is a work around to view video form.

By adding horses to the 'my stable' section you can then access their form history. Clicking on the date hyperlink sends you to the race result and if you scroll down to the bottom the video replay is there.

A complete arse about but at least it's possible.
