Not convinced Tizzard has the sense to admit he is regressive over fences, and switch him into the Stayers.

Its all about form @viking. You need to analyse it a bit but I can give you a hint: check out AJ & Supasunde last 2 races against each other and make up your own mind. Also watch the replays if you have a chance and it should be clear enough.

Hadn’t realised horses run exactly to previous form every time they run and it’s impossible Supasundae had improved

Patronising t**t

Anyone fancy Bapaume NRNB at 33s for this?
Travelled a dream behind Supasundae and Apple's Jade before probably getting bit tired.

But in an open race, to travel like that at such an age, and look that good against open company, 33s e/w must be some bet?

It was extremely slowly run so wouldn't be too difficult to still be bang there going to the last.

Backed Bapaume that day.........shaped like a non-stayer to me, even accounting for it being his first run.

Must just be me then. Granted he runs at usually under 3m, I thought he personally looked okay. Just thought at 33s, in what looks an average renewal, he might be worth place money.
Granted, he may not even go there depending what WPM thinks.

Bapaume was travelling like the winner for most of the way, but found practically zero when let down in the straight. There's a chance he was wanting for fitness, but he went from lobbing to all-out very quickly, and looked very one-paced to me. He didn't get home, in my view, but that's not to say I would put you off taking a chance at 33's in what looks a pretty-open race.

For me, he'd be of more interest in the Coral Cup. The run in Leopardstown hasn't done much to help his handicap mark, but a strongly-run race against 'weaker' horses, might suit him best.

Got to agree about the one paced but I personally had that down to fitness. I'll watching his former runs anyway before backing, what I usually do. But if he did get the ruin in the stayers i don't believe He'll be anywhere near 33s come off time.

Stuck him in the tracker, watch his next race with I interest.

Yanworth to be entered in Stayers Hurdle - now there is a surprise NOT . It is looking like Uknowwhatimeanharry's time may have passed with advancing years and Tamworth's jumping was still unconvincing in the Dipper - I suspect Barry not too sure he will get round in the JLT on good ground run at a a fast pace.

I'd read very little into this. They are simply keeping options open.

That's the whole point - a few weeks ago King was fulminating against those questioning his chasing career and ruled out him going back over hurdles - suddenly he is being entered in the Stayers Hurdle and there is apparently an article referring to this in the Weekender.

Finian’s Oscar to be switched back to hurdles with the stayers in mind. He runs in the Cleeve next. Yanworth under consideration for switch back too an Willoughby Court set to be given an entry too according to the Racing Post.

Looks like Buveur D’air started a fashion trend last year.
