Would say more about Casey than anybody else if it did do such a thing.

Apparently a crucial scan for Flemenstar on Friday is likely to reveal whether he will be out for the season.

Whilst I can't argue with the sentiment that Mr Casey is a muppet, I am really struggling with the "would say more...." bit.

How exactly, would a horse doing a shite say anything about anyone? Are you implying that if the event did occur that it would prove that Flemenstar himself is hugely pissed off with Mr Casey, read this article and as a result chose to stop mid-race and lay out a log in order to make some sort of post-ironic statement about Mr Casey's training facilities?

Possibly the worst use of the laziest phrase in current fashion I have ever seen. :D

Today's Irish Indo

His owner Stephen Curran said yesterday afternoon: "He's got a bit of a knock, I'd say he knocked into himself. We don't know how bad it is, we thought he would be OK but he's too good a horse to be taking a chance with.

"There's a bit of swelling there, it might not be too serious but we don't really know at this stage. We'll see how he is and we'll know more in five or six days. We'll mind him and be patient, and he'll get the time he needs.

"He was in the form of his life, in tremendous form. He did a piece of work the other week that was unbelievable. It's just bad luck, we were really looking forward to it."

What in the name a jeysus was Casey thinking?? I haven't seen the article but the headline reads very badly

He must be gone fierce sour over the whole affair. It's a shame, he could have taken the high road, but this headline makes him out to be a right clown.

The whole debacle is regrettable. Nobody comes out of it a winner.

"He is good. There is no difference with him from last week. We will have more news with him when we get him scanned next week, so we will know a lot more then," said the County Meath handler.

"He got a bang last week, and we are just giving it plenty of time and cooling it out before we do any tests on him. The longer we give it, the better it will be for him."

Normally reliable source of gossip indicates that he has bollocksed a tendon and will not be seen this year (at least)

Flemenstar potentially back on course around February, according to RP (link won't work).
