That's two bets I've had nicking back prices. The other was €100 @ 7/2 Mark Cavendish for SPOTY when the price was collapsing everywhere. It won't last long...

Some years ago a future Champion Hurdler was beaten in the same race by a handicapper. Just making the point.

its quite an average renewal actually..there has been a lot worse in the past

hence its no pointer to getting the CH winner..never has been since the early 80's when it just seemed to go down the drain

Binocular is a past winner of the CH and was quite fancied last March..most years you don't get any CH winning form running in it at all

in fact it might be better than average

i'm not saying its a good race..but its definately not its worst renewal by a long chalk

check back over the last 20 years..its not a top race ...last year was probably the best i can remember since Sea Pigeon days
