The Road To The 2013 Grand National

Will Venetia's horse get in she's the best in the business at eh...handicapping a horse  It's probably got 3 stone in hand.

For me the real world of friends and aquaintances is very different to anything online. But i can apprecaite that not everyone has that choice

On Chicago Grey at 45's, Teaforthree at 19's, Imperial Commander at 20's, and an e.w. on Across The Bay at 40's. Lost out AP on Prince De Beauchene, Wyck Hill and Alfie Sherrin.

Three against the field, but not sure if any are confirmed runners.

Quel Esprit - to take out 3 bags.
Joncol (this year's nutjob who "might just take to the unique challenge") to take-out 2 bags.
Soll - backed after Hennessy and again after Welsh Nash - to take out ten bags.

I expect nothing in the way of returns.

Some rank outsiders that might give fun punters a run for their money. They are Mon Mome types in that they are probably much longer than their best old form entitles them to be:

Auroras Encore
Any Currency
Mumbles Head
Mr Moonshine
Ninetieth Minute

Caper blue and teaforthree. I really liked caper blues unfit run at ascot and for what it's worth the winner of that race has certainly upheld he form. Teaforthree is the prominent good jumper which I think Is perfect for race. Would be fine cap to a season for a fine season for the trainer

Both welsh though so well have all that bloody singing if they win

The commander for me. If Neptune Collonges won this off 157 the Commander can do it off a pound more.

Also had a smaller bet on On his own.

trends picks for me

CHICAGO GREY
BIG FELLA THANKS
BALLABRIGGS
RARE BOB
ROBERTO GOLDBACK

30 bob and a rabbit on each to win at these prices

14.0
50.0
36.0
24.0
30.0

hope they all come home safe

Auroras Encore ( second in a Scottish National and wins a lot April / May time)

Balthazar King ( goes well fresh, ground come right )

Teaforthree ( not original but had this race in mind when it won at Cheltenham last year)

All three are nine year old, a strong trend in recent years

Bet365 are 11/8 about More than 17 finishers. 19 got round in the 29 runner Topham and 14 in the 24 runner Foxhunters - suggests you're looking at around 23/24 finishers over the new fences.

teaforthree and chicago grey

just adding ninetieh minute for a smAll stake (after seeing DO post)

roberto goldback has a decent chance left him for the wife to back ew
